Baby It's Cold Outside
One
"Whoa, slow down there!" Louis laughed when he opened my door. I swung a sweater over my shoulder, onto my bed.
"I can't! I have nothing decent to wear, and I only have another hour to get ready!" I whirled around and marched over to my dresser.
"Ok, well, what are you getting ready for?"
"I'm going over to my grandparents house." I stood up to face him, running my fingers through my hair. "I have to look good. They hate me."
"I'm sure they don't hate you." He lopped down on my bed.
"Yeah, funny. How'd you even get in here?"
"Your mom." I nodded, turning back to my closet.
"What am I gonna do? I have to make them not hate me more. I don't care if they don't like me, I just don't want them disowning me." I muttered.
"Just-" Louis stood and pointed. "Wear that." He knelt down, and reached under my bed. "With these shoes." He pulled them out. "And your little red earrings." He placed everything on the bed.
"Worth a shot. Thanks. Now, get out so I can change." I shoved him out the door.

"Alright mom! I'm gonna head out pretty soon. I have to be there in a little less than three hours." I walked down the stairs.
"Yup!" she piped from the living room. "Be courteous, polite and careful!"
"Be extra fancy! Pinkies up!" Louis said in a high voice.
"Oh my god, Louis!" I sprinted into the room and jumped on the couch, landing on him.
"Ouch!" He huffed.
"Thank you so much for the help, this looks great!"
"Psh, that's my expert fashion sense Sarah. It's like my sixth sense." He mused. "Anyways, three hour drive? Do you want me to drive you?"
"Umm..." I got off him and walked into the kitchen. "What would you do for the time I was there?" I grabbed a glass and filled it with water.
"I'd sit with my phone and wait for you to come out?" He strutted in and sat at the table.
"It could be two hours, give or take." I warned.
"Ok." He shrugged. I smiled, tossing the rest of the water into the sink.
"Oh, if you insist." I giggled.
"Well, finish getting ready."
"I ca't find my-" Louis stood by the door holding my jacket out for me. "Oh, thanks." I slid into it. "I swear you know this house better than I do."
"Maybe." He opened the door for me, and followed me out.
"Bye mom! We'll-"
"Be home in a few hours, I love you momma!" Louis finished for me. I heard my mom burst into laughter before the door closed.
"Off we go!" I walked down the pathway to his car.
"Are your grandparents really that bad?" He asked, opening the door for me.
"Worse." I buckled in. He ran to the drivers side and got in.
"Well, they obviously are jealous of you."
"I doubt it. They're trillionaires, own nine houses all around the world, and own hundreds of companies."
"You've got to be kidding me."
"Nope."
"Wow."
"Yup."
"Ok then." He hit the radio.
