Angels & Demons (ON HOLD)

Harry’s Pov

Oh my… She looks stunning. I couldn’t help the fact that my jaw dropped. Her dress hugged her curves perfectly. She had a blush to her cheeks. Oh, she must be embarrassed- well everyone is staring at her.

You IDIOT! My inner voices yelled in unison GO GET HER!

I left my drink- not planning to finish it and began walking up to her.

Onyx’s Pov

I was still standing there when I saw that mop of curly hair coming towards me,

Oh thank god, Harry.

I walked down the stairs and met up with him at the base.

“You came,” he breathed

I nodded “I keep my word Harry.”

“Hi.” He smiled

“Hi” I replied grinning

He pulled me into a hug.

“Why’s everyone staring at me?” I asked harry quietly

“Cause they’re all prissy idiots.” He whispered, “I swear I had a conversation with this girl-Syrah, pretty but so boring, her personality is toast, and that’s me being very generous. She’s taking about how much money her father has”

I grinned, “Braggers, they’re so fake, I hate that type of person.”

He nodded “tell me about it.”

“I just did” I grinned

Harry laughed a deep throaty noise. “You see Onyx, you have a personality, you are lots of things-”

“I’m lots of things, but boring ain’t one of ‘em” I said “ yee Dawgie”

Harry looked at me again and this time he burst into laughter, “Oh god ONYX!”

I began laughing too, Harry’s not to bad I thought to myself.

“So” I said after the laughing slowed down “you going to introduce me too the generous people who paid for my valet?”

“Of course” Harry smiled offering me the crook of his elbow.

We began to walk into a group of 4 people, 2 men and two women, one being Gemma.

“Onyx!” Gemma called coming towards us

“Gem! How are you!”

“Fantastic! How are you enjoying it so far?”

“It’s nice,” I said “I literally only entered the venue about 5 minutes ago.”

She smiled and we continued to walk towards the 3 other people.

“Onyx” harry said “I would like you to meet my mother Anne Cox, My Biological father Des Styles and My stepfather Robin Twist.”

“Hello Mrs. Cox” I smiled offering my hand “Onyx Thanatos.”

“Hello Onyx” She smiled sweetly “Please call me Anne.”

“Of couse Anne” I grinned

I turned to Des “Mr. Styles My pleasure”

“No,” He said “the pleasure is all mine Onyx.- just call me Des”

“Thank you Des.”

“Shall I call you Mr. Twist or Robin” I laughed

“Robin, Mr. Twist is much to formal”

I put out my hand “Well hello Robin, I’m onyx. This is absolutely splendid, its beautiful”

“Thank you Onyx,” he said

“So, tell us a bit about yourself.” Anne smiled handing me a champagne flute

“What would you like to know?” I asked

“How old are you? Background.”

“Birth certificate, Social security number” I added as a joke

They all laughed

“I’m 17 years old, and I am also Greek.”

“Yes” Des said “Your last name’s quite cryptic.”

I laughed, “Yes it is”

“I vacationed in Greece for 4 months when I was 20”

“Oh,” I responded, “Interesting, where did you stay?”

“we went to Athens, Thessaloniki and Sparta.”

“Did you go see The Spartan Ruins?” I asked

“No” Des said

“My Dad was born in Sparta, Moved to Rhodes, it was back and forth because my grandma and grandfather, moved to wherever work was available ” I said

“Oh..” Harry said quietly

“Yeah,” I replied “My dad was broke Once Upon a Time.”

“What’s your Fathers name?” Des asked

“Damien Thanatos.” I replied

“You mean THE DAMIAN THANATOS?!?!” Gemma hopped up and down “The professor of the Supernatural and Demonology?!?”

“Yeah?” I said

Gemma gasped, “ Your fathers work is fanatic! He is one of the most well know in England!”

“One day I can introduce you two yeah?”I smield

Gemma grinned and hugged me “ONYX THANATOS YOU ARE NOW MY SISTER I LOVE YOU”

“that’s cool” Harry nodded “What about your mum?”

I let go of Gemma “My mom was born in Delphi and Moved to Santorini when she was a few months old. And she lived there until she was about 10. Ad then they moved to Toronto”

“Does she have an accent?” Gemma asked curiously

“Nope” I said “Her father is 3 quarters Greek and a quarter English so he and my grandmother spoke English to her, no accent.”

“Interesting” Anne, said, “ children are very open… I would think that she would hae picked up on it”

“It’s incredibly slight,” I said “It only comes out when she’s tired angry or very homey with you.”

“Ohh,” Anne said

“I’m going to steal Onyx away from you for a tad” A voice with a thick accent said behind me

“Zayn!” I smiled as I hugged him tight he spun me around and planted a kiss on my cheek.

“Anne, Des, Robin, Gemma” I said “Zayn,”

“Hey,” Zayn Smiled “This is cool”

“Thank you” Anne smiled

After the introductions Perrie came bounding over to where Zayn and I were at the bar.

“Ony-Bear!”

“Pezzy-bop!”

We hugged each other. Giggling.

“Is Louis coming?” She asked

I shook my head “Nah, he said he couldn’t make it”

“Right” Perrie rolled her eyes “More like he ‘wanted you to go clubbing with him and you chose this’”

“Yup” I said popping the p.

“He’s a prick sometimes.” Zayn Shrugged “but that’s Lou for ya.”

“Amen” I replied “Amen.”
