Angels Wear Black
Airplanes
I looked up. Knowing Harry was in one of the airplanes. Tears fell freely. I hugged my knees closer to me. I ran along one of our trails to a usually beautiful meadow. Now, sensing my sadness, seeming dull and dead. I looked down at the snowy ground underneath me, and began to sob. I rocked back and forth. Screaming his name. I fell on my side and rolled onto my stomach. I punched the ground. I started coughing from the cold. I looked at the forest ahead of me. The trees were bare. Dead. Lifeless. Gone. Just like Harry. No goodbye. Just a text from Niall, stating that they were at the airport. About to leave. No goodbyes. I cried even harder. Uncontrollably. He was gone.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
I looked at my phone. I wiped my tears. And picked it up.
"H-hello?" I managed. Willing myself to not cry.
"Lina?" I held my breath. And I started crying.
"Mom?" I chocked.
"Lina, you alright?" She asked.
"I want to go home!" I sobbed. I could hear murmuring. And I knew she was talking with dad.
"Lina?" I heard my dad asked.
"Dad, please! Let me come home!" I sobbed. I hid my face behind my hand. He sighed.
"You sure, honey bun?" He asked. I could hear my mom
"Yes! Please! Dad!" I sobbed. I cried even more.
"Okay, honey bun. I'll talk to Aunt Lynn." I managed a half smile. But it was quickly replaced by even more sobs. Knowing she'll be heart broken.
"O-okay. I love you, dad." I said, wiping tears from my face.
"I love you too. Your mother does too. We miss you." He said. My body shook. They miss me?
"I miss you too. Please, dad. I can't do this any more." He was quiet.
"Okay. I'll call you in a bit, alright?" He asked. I shook even more.
"Y-yeah. B-bye!" I hung up. And threw the phone on the ground. I cried.
"Lina, you alright?" Aunt Lynn asked. She placed a blanket around my shoulders, and knelt down next to me. I shook my head.
"He's gone!" I said. She sat next to me, and pulled me into a hug. I cried into her shoulder. She said soothing things to me. But I couldn't hear. My heart was broken. Crushed. And he's gone. Without a kiss.
"I know you want to go home. And I'm okay with it. As long as you are okay with it." I looked at her. And slowly nodded. She managed to smile. I laid on her shoulder. "You know I love you? WE love you, right?" I nodded. "Okay. I just want you to know, you always have a home here in London."
