Just a Fool

“Are you ready for court?” Eleanor asked me. I glared at her and she held her hands up in defense and backed up.

“I’m sorry El I’m just worried I’ll lose the kids.” I said putting my head in my hands.

“Don’t worry you’re the most stable for them considering Harry travels a lot.” Danielle said as we got in the car to go get Perrie. All the girls were coming with me and they were going to sit with Piper while I’m fighting for my children.

“He is financially stable though.” I said buckling Piper in then walking to the driver’s side and climbing in.

“Well you’re their mom and most courts favor in the mom anyways.” Eleanor said trying to calm me down. I nodded my head and turned on the radio then drove to Zayn and Perrie’s house. When we got there I honked the horn and both Perrie and Zayn came out. As Perrie got in the car Zayn came to my window.

“Don’t stress about it. You’re an amazing mom and you will get your kids. Also Perrie and I want to have a sleep over with you the other girls, and boys and then the kids. Don’t worry Harry won’t be there.” He said. I nodded my head and pulled out of the driveway as he walked back inside.

When we got to the court house paparazzi were everywhere. I had Eleanor get Piper out then hand her to me. I made sure her head was rested on my shoulder to the flashes wouldn’t scare her more then she already was. I walked in and went to the court room and saw Harry, Kali, and his lawyer at one table. I gave Piper a kiss on the cheek then handed her to Perrie and walked to meet my lawyer at our table.

“Good morning Mrs. Styles. You don’t have to worry I promise you I’ll fight till I die for your kids.” She said. I nodded my head and then everyone raised as the judge came in then we all sat down.

“This is the case of Nichole Styles verses Harry Styles for custody of their children. I understand you guys are in the process of divorce. Is that correct?” the judge asked taking off his glasses.

“Yes your honor.” Our lawyers said at the same time.

“Ok lets start with Mr. Styles defense.” The judge said.

“Thank you your honor. Mr. Styles is the best choice for their children because he has a stable home and financially stable. He has a stable partner at the moment who is willing to step in as a mother figure to the Styles’ children. They will each have their own room and they already have a nursery ready for the child Mrs. Styles is currently carrying. Mrs. Styles isn’t financially stable. The kids won’t have a father figure in their everyday lives.” Harry’s lawyer said before sitting down and then my lawyer stood up.

“Mrs. Styles as the maternal instinct and knows what’s best for her children. She is financially stable since she owns her own bakery. Mr. Styles being part of One Direction will always be traveling the world and that isn’t a stable environment for the children. Mrs. Styles has a home where the kids will have their own rooms without any problems. Also she has five siblings and many friends who have offered to help her with the children.” My lawyer said before sitting down. The judge rubbed his eyes.

“I have to talk to your oldest three children. Could you bring them forward now?” the judge asked me.

“Your honor all my children besides the youngest are at school. I could see if my sister could pick them up.” I said standing up.

“That would be great Mrs. Styles. 20 minutes recess.” The judge said before hitting his gavel and leaving. I walked to the back of the court house and called Noelle. She said she’ll be here in half an hour. I hung up and went to take Piper from Perrie.

“I think your lawyer is proving your point. Uh oh here comes trouble.” Eleanor said under her breathe. I turned and saw Kali walking our way. I sighed and put on a fake smile as she tapped my shoulder.

“May I help you?” I asked turning and looking at her.

“Why don’t you just give up? The judge and everyone else will see you’re a horrible mother soon enough.” She said before walking away. I looked around to try to find Harry but I couldn’t and sat down playing with Piper on my lap.

Harry’s P.O.V
I really hate to do this to her but I need my kids, so I went and looked for the judge’s office. Once I found it I walked in and sat in a chair.

“Your honor I have an offer I don’t think you would want to refuse.” I said taking 5,000 dollars out of my pocket and on his desk. He looked at then money then at me.

“You get it if I get all five of my children. I do mean five. After the baby is released from the hospital I want it to come home with me. The judge put the money in one of his desk drawers and nodded his head. I walked out and wet ad sat next to Kali as I saw Noelle walk in with Chase, Christian, and Phoebe. They all ran and gave Nichole a hug. Seeing that made me feel worse than I already did but in the end it will be worth it. The judge came back ad Nichole led the kids, all except Piper, to her table. The judge then took one kid back at a time and in 15 minutes he made his ruling.

“In this case custody goes to Mr. Harry Styles and Mrs. Nichole Styles will get the children every weekend. Once the child the Mrs. Styles is carrying now is born it will go live with Mr. Styles. Court adjourned.” The judge said before walking back to his chambers. I looked at Nichole and saw her crying while hugging all the kids. Perrie, Eleanor, and Danielle were all glaring at me so I turned my head.

“I need to take them home now. We are having dinner with my mom.” I said walking up to Nichole and taking Piper in my arms. I began to lead the other three in front of me and I turned back and saw Nichole just sitting there broken.

Nichole’s P.O.V
“How could this happen? What did I do wrong? Was I really that bad of a mom?” kept replaying in my head as I walked out of the court house and to my car. I sat in the back this time with Perrie as Eleanor drove and Danielle was in the passengers’ seat. When we arrived at Zayn and Perrie’s house we all walked in to find the boys on the couch watching TV. When they heard the doors close Zayn stood up.

“Where are my favorite little people!” Zayn shouted expecting the kids to run to him, which made me cry even more. Soon the other boys came and saw me without the kids and crying. They led me to the living room while the girls explained the judge’s ruling.

“Who is going to watch them while we are away on tour?” asked an obviously angry Louis.

“I guess Kali.” I said trying to stop crying.

“She hates kids though. This is not alright. I’m going to call him right now!” Niall said dialing Harry’s number then putting it on speaker.

“Hey Niall you’ll never believe what I just did!” Harry said when he answered.

“I don’t know enlighten me.” Niall said coldly.

“I bribed the judge and got the kids!” he said. All of our mouths flew open and I began to cry again while Zayn tried to calm me down.

“What the fucking hell Harry? Did you not think of what’s best for the kids? They need their fucking mom but o you had to be selfish and take them away from her! She is over here crying because you had to be such a fucking dick!” Zayn shouted in anger.

“They need their dad more. Also they will have a mom, Kali.” Harry said.

“Kali will never be their fucking mom. We all know Kali hates kids so what the hell do you think is going to happen while you’re on tour?” Louis asked bawling his fist together.

“Nothing she’ll treat them like her own. I thought you guys would be on my side.” Harry said.

“I will never be on the side of someone who bribes a judge to take away someone’s kids. And why the fuck did you have it so once Nichole has the baby it comes and live you? Do you not realize she need to breast feed it and it needs to hear her heart beat in order for them to bond? You are so fucking stupid!” Liam shouted. This is the most angered I have ever seen him and it kind of scared me.

“I have to go.” Harry said before hanging up.

“Can’t we like take this to the higher court and tell them Harry bribed the judge?” Perrie asked.

“I don’t think so.” Liam said. We all just sat around like zombies. Some of us were crying (the girls). While the others were just staring off in space (the boys).
