Story of My Life

Divana's POV

I was sitting on my bed one night working on some homework when I heard my dad yell for me, "Divana get me some more beer!"

"Ok daddy!" I yell back to him.

I get off my bed and go to the kitchen, I walk over to the fridge and open the door. Shit, he's out of beer....

"Ummm, Dad?" I say in a low and fearful voice.

"yes?" he says in an aggravated tone. I gulp really hard.

"your out of beer" I say waiting for him to through his tantrum.

"WHAT?!" he yells so loud that I thing my ears started to bleed. But before I could answer him I heard his footsteps getting closer to the kitchen. I close the door to the fridge and back up to the wall to see him entering the room with the most furious expretion on his face I have ever seen.

"Theres no more beer...." I said in a low and scared voice.

"This is all your fault!!! You hear me? This is your fault, and guess who's going to get me some more!" he yelled at me while walking closer to me. I just stood there as he got closer, he got so close that all I could smell was his breath the reacked of beer and cigarettes.

"you are going to get me some beer and that is finally." he said right in my face and I just nodded having no other choice.

"good" he said walking away from me, but turning around and in the process slapping me in the face. I fell to the floor because of the force he used, I just laidded there crying to myself as my dad grabbed some money out of my purse and walked out of the house, slamming the door after exiting.

I got off the floor, tears blearing my vision, and ran to my room, slamming the door shut and crying myself to sleep, as I do every night. But I'm awaken from my daydream by someone yelling my name.

"Divana!" my teacher Miss. Sason yelled at me for daydreaming again. I always daydream about this stuff, my dad, and everything.

"What!?" I yelled at her back, yeah I'm going to get kicked out of her class again, I hate her class, she can't teach worth shit.

"Excuss me young lady but I don't think it is polite to yell at your teacher" she said crossing her arms over her chest which is stuffed with tissue paper.

"well excuss me for not giving as single fuck" I said standing up and grabbing my books. Everyones eyes were on me and I just walked over to the door while Miss. Sason just started yelling at me to sit back down. I just flicked her off as I walked out of the class room. I got down the hall and just walked out of the front doors of the building. I just don't give a fuck anymore.

Yeah I'll probably get suspended or expelled but who really gives a shit? I know I don't, and I know none of my family does. Plus I could use a vacation from this hell hole I call home. I just want to pack my bags and leave without letting anyone know I'm leaving or where I was going. But inforcunatly I can't do that cause my dad would beat me to death after he relised I was gone.

I begin walking out of the school zone and turn down a street so I could walk to my friend Destiny's house. Her parents arn't home during the day so I can just stay here until tonight, and she can drive me home.

Well I'm at Isabella's house after a little walking and she has a shit load of food! Her mom must have just gone shopping for the month. I have like 4 juices and a party size Doritos bag. I sit down on her couch and turn on her 73 inch T.V that she has in her living room. I looked at her DVR and saw she still had SNL on there so I watched it. It had Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon. I just watch whatever I could find for the next 5 hours because I really didn't want to do anything else and then the last 2 hours I was at her house when I was supossed to be at school, I was just on Facebook and Youtube and whatever else I could find to do.

Isabella's POV

'I'm finally home!' I think as I walk up my driveway. I get to my back porch I hear music playing. I look through the window and see Divana at my computer, on Twitter. I walk into my house and see that my house is a mess. She has noticed me by now and I look at her like 'What the fuck?!'

She paused the loud music and then looked back at me, "What?" she asks, while stuffing her face with Doritos.

"What!?" I yell at her. "Well Divana I think I'm looking at you like I'm going to kill you because my house is a mess and what the hell are you doing here away?"

"Well I walked out of class and I didn't want to go home so I went here. I was going to leave when you got here." she said swollowing what she had in her mouth.

"You went here after you left?" I asked her lowering my voice, I knew she left school but I just thought she would go to her grandma's or something not my house.

She just nodded to my answer. I sighed and looked around the room, there was a pile of chip crums on the floor where she was sitting by the computer desk. Also there was a mess of Wii remotes and the Wii balence board on the floor in front of the T.V.

"Why did you just leave school?" I asked looking at her.

"I was daydreaming again and I got yelled at Miss. Sason so I yelled at her back and she said something and then I tolded her that I didn't give a single fuck and I just walked out of the classroom and then the school Itself and then I decided to go to your house cause your parents arn't home during the day and I really didn't want to go home...sorry" she finished and I sighed again.

"It's Ok, and I'm sorry I yelled at you I just really didn't want to deal with anyones shit when I got home. But you are no ordinary person, your my best friend, your problems are my problems......What were you daydreaming about again? The usual?" I asked and she nodded her head while looking down.

I felt really bad so I walked over to her and gave her a hug and she hugged me back after a few seconds. "I'm sorry" I said in a low and soft voice into her hair.

"It's OK, It's not your fault my life sucks." she said and I could just hear the sadness and hurt in her voice.

"You want to stay the night tonight?" I asked loosening my grip on her so I could see her face. She nodded and I nodded back and let her go and started cleaning the living room up along with her help after she turned some music back on.
