Love in Paradise

The first time I saw him, I felt something, something I've never felt with just one look before. The way his beautiful blue eyes looked into my green ones. The way we never broke eye contact, well that is until my rude co-worker stepped in front of me. "I need you to go serve that group of boys over there." Great I thought to myself, the one day I oversleep and don't have time to make myself look decent.

I started walking over to the table. “Hello my name is Leila, how may I take your order?” I politely asked. All the boys at the table looked up at me and then at their menus trying to decide. Everyone except the blue eyed boy ordered chicken wings. He ordered Perri Perri chicken. “Okay is that all for you today?” I asked “Yup!” they all said in unison. Finally I went over to the kitchen to put in their orders. I couldn’t help but feel as if I was being stared at. When I finally turned my head to the side, I saw the blue eyed blondie staring at me making funny faces. I decide to play along and return the faces. After fifteen minutes of making faces, I realized it was time to bring the food over the boys.I was proud of being able to balance all the plates at once while making my way over.

Niall’s POV

As she approached the table I couldnt help but notice how stunning she was. Her green eyes twinkling into mine as she placed our order. She turned around and started walking back, her wavy brown hair bouncing as she walked. “Niall, Niall?” the boys called me, which broke me out of my train of thought. “Lads, I um, am going to the restroom.” I got up and left before they could respond. Instead of going to the restroom like I planned, I saw her go into the staff room and decided this would be a good opportunity for me to get to know her or at least get her number. When I entered the room, there was no one there. I was puzzled until I noticed that there’s a back door. I rushed to it hoping that I could catch up to her, but it was too late. The girl who I didn't even know but felt a connection with, got away.

Leila’s POV

“FINALLY” I thought to myself as I was entering my flat. Even though I hate working at Nando’s, my mind couldn't stop racing with thoughts over the cute blonde boy. His laugh was contagious and his smile was beautiful. Not many guys can get my attention but he, he was different. I found a comfy spot on the couch, waiting for my best friend Eleanor to come back from class and tell me about her day. And as I predicted she came in and sat down, even more excited looking than normal. “You will never guess what!” “They had a sale at TopShop “ I asked excited.“No, No you know my boyfriend Louis, the one in a famous band, well since we have school off for the next month I finally want you guys to meet”. “ What does that have to do with school being off for the next month?” I asked “ Well he is touring with his band mates and they’ve invited me to join them!!! So I asked if I can bring a friend along so I don't get bored at interviews, concerts, etc.” “ As much as I would love to meet them and tour for a month, i'm sorry but I have work." “ You need a break from everything though.” “ I know, I know, i'm really sorry Eleanor, I would love to but I can’t. I need this job if we wanna keep living in a good flat." “Well I knew you were going to say that so I did something about it...” She replied with a devilish smile on her lips. “What did you do?” I asked even though I already knew the answer.” I got your boss to give you a month off" She said proud of herself. “How did you do that” I wondered hoping she didn't promise i’d clean the boys bathroom like last time. “I promised you would clean the boys bathroom” Thanks Eleanor. Instead of being mad at her I thought about touring for a month, which sounded really good to me. “Okay so when do we leave”?
