You and I

Abbey Pov

I see nothing but darkness around me. Than a light flashes in front of me, I walk towards it but the closer I get it seems that the light moves farther away.


I start to run towards it but than I feel a hand around my arm, I turn around to see Harry. ''Harry what are you doing,'' I ask him. ''Don't leave me, please,'' he begs. I place my hand on his cheek, when I'm about to say something I hear my name being called by a voice I haven't heard in awhile.


In the other direction I see my mum,'' Mum?'' She nods,'' Yes my love.'' I feel tears on my cheeks,'' I have missed you,'' I say as I walk towards her. Once I'm in front of her I throw my arms around her in a hug.


''I have missed you too, but I have been with you every step of your life,'' she tells me. I smile I have missed hearing her voice.



''I see you have a friend,'' she says. I look back to see Harry still standing there waiting patiently. I turn back to my mum,'' That is my boyfriend Harry, actually he isn't my boyfriend anymore.''


''Why is that,'' she asks. I frown and look down at the floor,'' He broke my trust, and I don't think he can ever regain that.''


''How did he do that,'' she questions. I sigh,'' He cheated on me and that was his second chance.''



''Do you remember the time I got my grandma's china set,'' she asks. I nod,'' And do you remember you broke one of the plates.'' I nod again,'' Then you broke two more and her necklace too.''



"Yeah but I was like five,'' I argue. ''Yes but that was the last thing your grandma gave me before she left us. But I didn't get mad, did I?''


''No,'' I say. ''See sometimes people need more than one chance, it sometimes takes three chances to get it right,'' she tells me. I look back at Harry, than back at my mum. ''And you never know it could have been a big understanding,'' she says.



''What's that suppose to mean,'' I ask. ''You have to ask him yourself,'' she tells me. ''Mum,'' I ask.



''Yes my love,'' she asks. ''Can I stay with you, please,'' I beg. ''Honey, that's not my decision. You have to choose and I will be happy with the chose you make,'' she says.


I look at Harry one more time and grab my mum's hand.



Harry Pov


Its been a few months now and Abbey still hasn't waken up,'' Come on Abbey, please wake up.''


I called Abbey's brother three weeks ago, and he came as soon as he could. He hasn't left her at all, neither have I.


''Don't leave me, please,'' I beg and kiss her hand. Louis walks into the room with some cloths in his hands. ''Thanks,'' I say not taking my eyes off of Abbey. ''How is she,'' he asks. ''She hasn't moved or responded yet,'' Jake answers for me.



''Harry can I talk to you,'' Louis asks. I look at Abbey a few more seconds, then I stand up and walk over to Louis.



''Mate, do you remember when we were younger us and the guys had this little band,'' he asks.



''Yeah, we played at our mums' birthday parties,'' I say. ''Well me and the guys were think we should go to on that tv show the X- Factor,'' he tells me.


''I can't leave Abbey,'' I argue. ''I'm not saying you have to leave her, the auditions are tomorrow, just come audition with us,'' he reassures me. ''You should do it Harry, I have heard you sing to Abbey you are good. If anything happens to her I will call you, this is a once in a life time opportunity you should take it,'' Jake says still holding Abbey's hand.



I look at Louis,'' Fine,'' I agree. A smile appears on his face,'' Go home you need the rest for tomorrow.''


''You will can me when she wakes up, right,'' I ask Jake. ''Yes, you will be the first to know,'' he tells me.



I nod and walk over to Abbey I lean down and kiss her forehead,'' I love you,'' I whisper to her.

~ The next day~

''Congraduation One Direction you made it to the boot camp,'' Simon says. We jump and down cheering, than run out to our families to give them the good news.


''That's great honey,'' my mum says and gives me a hug. ''Lets go celebrate, lets go get dinner'' Niall suggests.


''I'm going to go check on Abbey, but I will meet y'all there,'' I tell them. They nod and I get in my car then drive to the hospital.


I walk to her room and open the door to see Jake watching tv. Abbey is still hasn't moved, I grab a chair and sit by the bed.



''How did the auditions go,'' Jake asks. ''Great we made it to the boot camp stage,'' I tell him. Then the heart monitor starts to beep fast, and then the lines go died. ''What is happening,'' I shout.



Jake jumps out of his chair and runs to get the nurse. ''Abbey please don't go,'' I say. Five nurses run through the door, and start doing all this stuff. ''Sir, I am going to have to ask you to leave the room,'' one of the nurses says pushing me out of the room.



I stand in front of the closed door, Jake is on his phone calling everyone. Telling them to hurry over to the hospital. And all I can think is.......



I'm losing my Abbey.
