Finding Love

Vanessa's POV

While I was waiting for Lily I grabbed my kindle fire and tried to decided which book to read for now. I soon settled on Wild Cards after about ten minutes I heard a knock knowing it was Lily. I bookmarked my page and put my kindle in my school bag along with my phone. I walked downstairs and grabbed my moms credit card. I opened the door to find Lily playing her phone. She looked up from her phone and at me.

"Well it took you long enough." She said with a smile.

"I took like two minutes." I said closing the front sort and making sure it was locked.

"Whatever. Do you have any books?" She asked.

"Just my school books." I replied.

"Okay let's go." She said to me.

"So are we going to your house first or the mall?" I asked.

"My house because I am not wearing this to the mall." She said. While I have her a weird look. "Why are you looking at me like that?

"Because what you're wearing is fine." I said laughing at her.

"No it's not because I wore this to school." She said.

"So?" I said.

"I can't let anyone see me in the same clothes I wore at school. No one wears the clothes they wore to school after school. Duh." She said acting like a drama queen.

"Ok let's just go." I said smiling.

"Okie dokie." She said and back out of my drive way and started to drove to her house.
