Finding Love

Vanessa's POV

I had two more questions left in my History homework. I already finished Math since that is my next class. I looked through the chapter to find the answers which I couldn't find. At least my History teacher is nice.

*RING RING*

Ten minutes until Math so I picked up my books and went to my locker. I put in the combination VB1 and opened my locker. I put the book I didn't need into my locker and took out the ones I needed I even grabbed my book 'Divergent'. I closed my locker and put the lock back on. I opened my book and started to read it while I walked down the now almost empty hall. I read almost two paragraphs when I bumped into someone.

"Sorry I didn't see you." I said not even looking up from book.

"Of course you didn't you have your nose in a book." Said the person I bumped into.

"Yeah it's ok it was my fault." I said not paying attention to what the person was saying.

"Give me that." They person said taking my book away.

"Hey give it back." I said looking at the person I didn't want to see.

"I just want to see what it's about." He said with a smirk.

"Come on I need to get to class." I said getting impatient.

"Maybe you shouldn't have ran into me." He said.

"I was kind of in the middle of reading something." I said looking at the ground.

"Here." He said handing me the book back.

"Thanks." I said taking my book back.

"No problem." He said.

"See you around." I told him walking past him.

"Yeah I guess." I heard him say quietly.

I walked into my Math class quietly and sat down. I took out my Math book and my book I was reading.

"Alright class get last nights homework out so I can check it." our Math teacher Ms. Beth. I opened my Math notebook to the page. She walked around the class room to make sure everyone did it.

"Today everyone did their homework so, do whatever you want for an hour then well check last nights homework." She said. I took out my book and finished it. When I was done I started on tonight's homework she gave us for if we wanted to do it. Ten minutes after I finished my homework the hour was done.

"Ok class lets check homework." She said.

We finished checking in about twenty minutes so by the time we were done checking it was time to go to the next class.

"See you guys tomorrow." She said. A few kids mumbled goodbye. I was walking to History when I seen Jeannette.

"Hey Jeannette." I said to her.

"Hey V." She said.

"Here I finished this you can read it now." I said knowing she's been wanting to read it.

"Thanks." She said with a smile.

"I have to get to class see you later." I said walking away.

"Yeah me too bye." She said walking the other way.
History went by quickly so by the time I knew it the bell rang saying we can go home now so I walked to my locker to put my book bag in since I finished all of my homework. I walked out of school to find Avery, Rosie, and Jeannette outside talking. So I walked over.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hey." They all replied.

"So my dad said he's going to rent us a limo, ok." Avery said.

"Ok." We all said.

I got home to find some wild flowers on the front porch. I looked at the card thinking it was for my mom. It said:

Sorry for taking your book earlier. You know who this is. ;)

"Yeah I do." I said smiling.
