❤ Chapter Nine ❤
Harry's POV
"It's only until April. You'll have to be spotted with Kendall at least 60 to 80 times between now and then. We will set up your dates and outings, and you will get paid for this. You need to stop fooling around with girls, and we need your player image gone by the time your next album is released. Do you know how many girls look up to you, Harry?" Jillian, one of my managers in charge of my "public image" droned on but I wasn't listening.
"Nine months? You want me to date Kendall for nine months? Her family is crazy!" I argued. The stupid contract was sitting in front of me, untouched.
"Like I said, your player image needs to disappear. You were Number 2 on the Top Ten Players List in People magazine! By dating a girl and showing your committed will definitely help sales," she continued.
"How is dating a stripper showing I'm committed? It will just look like I'm hooking up with her for her looks and money," I snapped.
"Kendall Jenner is the hottest celebrity out there. It's not a choice, Harry."
Jillian's cold, grey eyes felt calculating as I gripped the ballpoint pen so hard it cracked.

*2 weeks later*
I walked down the street, hands clasped with none other than Kendall Jenner. I was almost uncomfortable, because I usually never went out in public without my beanie and sunglasses.
"So like... what are we supposed to do?" Kendall asked. I swear that girl said "like" in almost every other sentence.
"We're supposed to go out to a movie, I guess. Then dinner," I mumbled.
We turned a corner onto Hollywood Boulevard, where a group of paparazzi was already waiting for us. Cameras went off, and lights flashed. I put an arm around Kendall, just like I was instructed too, and tugged her along down the street.
"Harry! Kendall! Are you two a thing? When did you start dating? Where are you going tonight?" People shouted, as they herded behind us.
Kendall and I finally made it to the El Capitan Theater. We hurried inside and got seated in the very back of the theater, so we would be less likely to be seen. Even though Niall and Barbara sat in the front row, I didn't want to take any chances.
The lights dimmed, just as Kendall grabbed my hand.
When was this night going to end?

"So like, Aunt Kim got me my third Range Rover for my birthday and it was amazing!" Kendall gushed, daintily sipping her water.
"Isn't Kim your half sister?" I asked in confusion, trying to remember what I had read about them and all the Keeping Up With The Kardashians episodes Jillian made me watch.
"Yeah, but like… she's so old she's like... my aunt," she rolled her eyes. I didn't understand her logic, but I just shrugged and continued eating my hamburger.
"So tell me about yourself," I finally asked, ignoring her goo-goo eyes she kept making at me.
"Oh! Ok so like, I love shopping and I love cars. Like, I am totally obsessed with those things," Kendall giggled.
Wow. Deep.
"So what do you like?" She asked, keeping her eyes trained on her long nails.
"Well-" I began.
But before I could continue, Kendall's long arms were wrapped around my neck, and she launched into my lap. She kissed me roughly, tugging my curls.
What the hell? I tried pulling away, but she held even tighter.
Out of the corner of my (opened) eye, I saw photographers standing outside the window. People around us were whispering and pointing, making my cheeks burn a bright red.
"Kendall!" I gasped, shoving her off. But the paparazzi were already gone, probably telling their publishers already. Great. This was going to be leaked out by tomorrow, the latest.
I scowled, rubbing my lips.
We got out pretty quickly after that, and I quickly drove away in a black Range Rover.

OMG! Niall and Barbara?! I just found out. Our little baby is growing up :((((
And Harry and Kendall? Don't get me started.
Anyways, I may not be able to update a ton because I'm crammingfor mid-terms next week. Ughhhh so much studying DX
