Summer '13

***Harry's POV***

"Dude, what's your problem with Mia?" Zayn chuckled, taking a swig of beer as we sat on the balcony of his apartment.

"She's annoying as fuck," I said crossly, feeling annoyed. Everyone was pissed at me for the "little stunt" (as Louis called it) with Kendall. I mean, what was the big deal? I was just inviting her to god damn lunch, and they went all bitch on me.

And I hated when Louis was mad at me.

"She's not that bad once you get to know her…" Zayn said.

"Oh, and you know so much about Mia?" I snorted, putting my hands behind my head.

"Enough to to know she's a nice bird, you dumbfuck. And she's Louis's sister," he laughed. That's what I liked about Zayn. He was always so… calm. And he never took things too seriously. But Louis was my closest mate, and I know I sometimes screwed stuff up.

"You have to apologize to her at some point," Zayn pointed out distractedly, laughing at some text Perrie just sent him.

"Maybe in a hundred years," I replied, downing the rest of my drink, leaving my throat burning.

Why was I waking up to my crazy ex-girlfriend's song?

And why did she sound quite so lovely?

I crept out into the hallway, and followed the sound the of the music, almost in a fucking trance. I stumbled a few times. Fucking hangovers. I tip-toed into the living room, and saw Mia playing a guitar, her back facing me as she continued to softly play and strum some chords.

"That's pretty good," I said, after she had finished the song.

Mia whipped around, blood rushing to her cheeks as she quickly set the guitar back in it's case.

"I-uh, I thought you already left with Louis to the studio," she stuttered, nervously biting her bottom lip.

"Change of plans. We were going to see if you wanted to come with us," I shrugged, making my way to the kitchen. She didn't respond as I made a bowl of cereal for two and set it down on the table.

I spooned cheerios into my mouth, as I watched her quickly put the guitar in the closet.

"What, you don't like people listening to you play or something?" I snorted.

Her face flushed a deep crimson again, and she sat wordlessly at the table and began pushing her cereal around.

Weird.

I belted out the lyrics into the microphone, grinning from ear to ear.

***Mia's POV***

The five boys were amazing. They all looked so happy singing together in perfect harmony in that little booth.

I wish I could be in a recording studio. But what happened with Harry just proves I wouldn't be able to grow the balls and sing in front of people.

So yeah.

Notes

So like, I am beyond fed up.

I haven't found my phone, and the police was no help whatsoever. They said it's mostly likely somewhere in a trashcan because we called my phone service to shut it down so whoever stole my phone couldn't in.

Now I have to get a freaking refurbished phone.

And I'm like in a bad mood.

Sorry!

Not really.

But on a brighter note, Christmas (for all my non Jews) is in five days :D Woah. It's like… woah.
