I like the characters and all, but the story is very alike to others I've read. I like to see how you improved as you wrote though! The first couple chapters were a bit choppy, but by the end you turned into a pro. You should try and write down every interesting thing that you could write about though and channel it all into a new story. You have the potential, you just need to use it to its full extent.
