Til the End of Time

Liam’s fingertips graze over my bare arm. He looks me dead in the eye and whispers, “I love you.”

My eyes, large and blue, watch him carefully, eating him alive. I bite my lip and then go for the kill: My lips twist against his intensely. Liam wraps his arms around my waist and I cup his face in my hands.

I break away from the kiss, pressing my breasts against his chest. “Oh-h,” I moan as Liam tenderly bites my neck. His tongue feels warm and soft against my skin. My eyes roll back in my head as my head begins to swim with sensations I have never truly felt before.

Liam and I step toward his bed, moving in rhythm. I plop down on the mattress, still holding Liam’s cheeks. I kiss him hungrily, nipping at his bottom lip as I pull away. My fingers tug at his white T-shirt, wanting it to come off. My hands slide up his shirt, touching his abs. A deep, swelling sensation forms in my loins.

On my back, Liam climbs on top of me and I unbutton his blue jeans. He helps me slip out of my sweatshirt and caresses my pale flesh. I stare deeply into his eyes once again, not wanting to look away; tuning out the rest of the world.

Liam and I take off our jeans quickly, not wanting our lips to be apart for too long. Liam grabs my breast as his mouth makes its way down my midriff. I run my fingers through his hair, gripping the strands tight. He reaches below my navel and massages me through my underwear, kissing my soft skin.

I tremble with excitement as Liam pulls my panties down. I do not look when he takes his boxer briefs off, still too embarrassed to see that much of him. With one quick movie, he is inside me. I gasp in both pain and satisfaction.

Liam puts his finger to his lips, “Sh-h,” he whispers. I smile up at him, feeling safe in his embrace.

He begins; an intense fire lights and spreads within me. Faster and faster, bodies aching for more. With high-pitched yelps escaping from my lips, I grab fistfuls of the bedding underneath me. Liam kisses my neck as I throw my head back, mouth gaping open.

“Oh, Liam…” I whisper, out of breath, sweat beading on my forehead.

“Sh-h, Cali,” he breathes back, stroking the hair out of my face.

Reaching my climax, I try my best to stay quiet, for fear of anyone hearing. I look up at the ceiling, memorizing the drip pattern it makes. I play “connect-the-dots” with drips, focusing on staying silent.

I grip Liam’s shoulder and dig my fingernails into his flesh. His eyes squint shut in pain and he lowers himself down. With his shoulder against my lips, I sloppily kiss his soft skin—my way of apologizing. I run my fingers through his hair and I tenderly smooch his ear.

Liam suddenly jolts up, getting better leverage. He holds my hips as he continues to thrust into me. I notice him blinking the sweat out of his eyes—biting his lip to keep from yelling out.

My back arches and that fire within me grows more intense. My whole body feels light as a feather—as if my bones are hollow and my skin is made of tissue paper. The ache in my head is so deliciously painful that I almost cannot stand it. I bang my fist against the mattress and then everything freezes. A shower of pleasure washes over me, starting at my head and traveling through my body to my toes. I exhale and my muscles relax.

Liam nearly collapses on me, catching himself. Leaning over me, he searches for words in my steel blue eyes. Liam cups my cheek in his hand and kisses me delicately. My lips push against his until our mouths are open, tongues wrestling. Liam’s fingers move down my neck and to my hip, causing goose bumps to rise.

Suddenly, we hear commotion upstairs—Liam’s parents are home. Our kiss breaks and we scramble to cover up our secret deeds. I grab my clothes and run to the bathroom while Liam puts on his boxers and jeans and opens the windows in his room to air out the smell of sex.
I decide to take a shower so I would not have to face his parents so soon after that just happened. As the scalding water pours over me, I cannot help but smile. Liam makes me feel so special—and not just when we make love. I cannot even imagine not coming to England and meeting him—it was meant to be!

I exit the bathroom, fully dressed to find Liam lying on his bed, looking at a magazine. I pad over to him, sliding next to him.

“Hey,” I say, putting my arm over his abdomen.

“Hey,” he whispers, putting the magazine down.

“What did your parents have to say?”

“Nothing—I just told them you came over here after a run and felt like showering.”

“Good,” I smile. A moment of silence passes. “So your X Factor audition is in a couple of days?”

“Yup,” he responds, looking at me. He must notice the sadness in my eyes. “What’s wrong?”

“Well… what happens if you make it?”

“I make it to Boot Camp.”

“And what happens after that?” I bite my lip, anticipating the answer.

“I move onto the next rounds. Why?”

“It’s just… I’m going back to the States in a week. You won’t even be here for my last day if you make it.”

“Hey, hey, listen,” he coos, rolling over onto his side. Liam puts his hand to my cheek. “Even if I make it and… become a famous singer, I will always, always come back for you.”

I look him in the eye, tears spilling over from mine. “Promise?”

“Promise,” he assures me. He pulls me in close to him, embracing me in his strong arms. “I could never forget about you.”
