chapter 28

"Anna!wake up!your going to be late for school!it's 7:30,you have to be at school in 15 minutes!!GET UP!!"
when i heard her say 7:30 i practically jumped off the bed towards my phone to look at the clock.i fell from the bed and then crawled towards my drawer to get it.7:04.i sighed.i knew it.she always does this to get me up.and i always fall for it.she's good at this parent thing.
i yelled:
"mom!it's 7:00!!"
she yelled back:
"at least your up now"
"well i fell of the bed because i thought i was going to be late,jeez THANKS MOM!!!"
"will you SHUT UP!some of us are trying to sleep here"
that was my brother Jason.i guess he decided to stay here tonight.my mother yelled:
"you better watch your mouth there young man!you might be 22 but i'm still your mother"
i didn't hear anything after that i guess Jason didn't want to see my mother's wrath.i stood up from the ground and stretched.this was going to be a long day.
i did my everyday ritual:shower,get dressed,hair.i decided to wear This.i got downstairs and like always was greeted with my parents.i was eating breakfast when my phone buzzed.i took it out of my bag and saw it was a text from Liyha.i opened it and it read:
"Zayn said he can give me a lift to school since he has to go somewhere.your on the way do you want us to pick you up?"
it's better than walking since it's cold out side so i told her:
"yeah sure,if it's not a problem for you"
"of course not,be ready,be there in 5"
i finished my breakfast and told my parent's i'm going to go to school with Liyha.they nodded and my mother told me to pay attention in my classes.yeah right,like anyone does.
right after i was done i got another text;
"come out"
i got out and saw that Mr Malik's car was in front of our house and liyha was motioning for me to hurry up and get 'my ass in the car'.she actually yelled those words loud enough for the whole neighbor hood to hear.i shook my head and walked up to the car she was sitting next to zayn so sat in the backseat.looked at Liyha and told her:
"thank's for picking me up"
"don't thank me thank zayn"
damn you Liyha Malik!i looked at zayn and saw he was looking at me in the mirror i told him:
"thank you zayn"
"no problem Annabelle"
i guess we were looking at each other for a long time cause the next thing i know is Liyha yelling and pointing fingers at us:
"i knew it!!!you guys are together aren't you!!?i know Anne,you told me but i couldn't believe it until now!!!you guys are together!!!!oh my god!"
i just looked at her and before i could say anything zayn said:
"so what?yeah i like her.is there going to be a problem?"
liyha looked taken back a little.i guess she didn't expect zayn to say that.hell,i didn't expect zayn to say that.she said:
"a problem?!i don't have a problem with it!zayn Anne's probably the only decent girl you've ever taken an interest in!so i'm gonna tell you one thing,you do something to hurt her,i'll kill you!she's my best friend and there's no way in hell i'm gonna lose her because of you.so you better think about everything before you actually do something!!"
ok i know they were talking about me but this is awkward.and it kinda felt good to see Liyha taking my side.maybe i should wait outside the car until their done.but we have school and since i know Liyha won't back down and neither won't zayn,i guess it runs in their family,i told them:
"guy's,ehm ...i think we should go...you guys can have this conversation later..."
liyha cut me off:
"yeah sorry well we WILL have this conversation later,"
zayn huffed and said something that i couldn't figure out,liyha ignored him and said:
"well zayn what are you waiting for we should go!"
zayn looked at her again,he looked like he wanted to choke her.well i know that look very well since me and my brother give it to each other a lot.
zayn turned on the car and started driving,we had to tell him where to go since he didn't know where it was,but it's really close to our home so he found it easily.he stopped the car in front of the school and liyha told him bye and got out.i said:
"well bye zayn have a good time"
i turned to open the door when he grabbed my arm.i looked at him again and he said:
"what?i don't get a kiss?"
i leaned in and kissed him on his cheek.then i turned around to get out of the car but he was quicker he grabbed me again and said:
"not this time"
then he grabbed my head and kissed me.it wasn't a long kiss.or a heated one.but it was a kiss,a great one at that.after he leaned back he said:
"now you can go,bye Anna have a good day at school"
i blushed a little and told him:
"bye zayn"
then i got out.i heard him chuckle so i mumbled:
"cheeky bastard"
he chuckled again and said:
"i heard that"
i got out of the car before he could say anything else and closed the door.all of a sudden i heard a voice right next to my ear say:
"about damn time you got out of the car,what were you doing anyway"
i jumped a little at the voice i turned around to see Liyha standing there smirking ,obviously because i was scared,or for some other reason.i told her:
"don't do that!"
she laughed and said:
"sorry but no promises.come on let's go in we surprisingly have 10 minutes till class starts."
i smiled at her.and grabbed her hand.we walked towards the school's entrance.she asked me:
"you didn't answer my question,what were you doing?"
i blushed and told her:
"nothing"
her eyes widened and she screamed:
"oh my god!you were kissing weren't you! i knew...."
i had to put my hand on her mouth to shush her.i said:
"will you shut up!we don't need the whole school to know!!!"
she visibly controlled herself and said:
"sorry,but it's kinda exciting for me to see my best friend and my brother together.so has he asked you out yet?"
"not really"
she looked at me and said:
"what?why?"
"i don't know,but yesterday after he brought me home after.... you know.... the incident,he told my brother that were more than friend's and girlfriend boyfriend type"
"what do you mean girlfriend boyfriend type?"
"how the hell am i supposed to know?he's your brother ask him"
we reached our class and got in.the whole class was nearly full so i guess the bell would ring any minute now.we sat down and she asked me:
"what happened between you 2 yesterday?"
i wanted to tell her when our principle walked in and said:
"i'm sorry to inform you that Miss Jones had an accident and couldn't make it today.it's nothing serious so you don't need to worry although they need to stay at home and rest for one day.we don't have any replacement's today and i know i can trust you to spend one period of your time here without making any trouble."
after that he walked out.no one even cared some continued talking like me and Liyha and some slept on their tables.it's 8 in the morning so i don't blame them.Liyha started talking again:
"so?"
then i started telling her everything.from our fight,well it wasn't technically a fight since only zayn was shouting at me,but what ever.to the part we kissed and him telling Jason that we're more than friends.
and when i was done,she looked at me like i had two heads.
