Bang Bang (On Hold)

Chapter 1

(Celeste)

I had a throbbing headache. I shouldn't have stayed out so late last night. Tossing off my blankets, I trotted to my bathroom.

I couldn't believe this girl was me. I looked like hell. I could still taste the alcohol on my breath and of course smell it on me.

I tore off my pj's and jumped in the shower. When I was done, I dried myself off and tossed on an outfit and ran downstairs for breakfast.

I grabbed a muffin and I got a dirty stare from Jean. My stepmother. I had no idea what dad was doing with a gold digging bitch like that but whatever.

I thought I was missing something but I couldn't put my finger on it. As I looked in my rear view mirror, I remembered.

One green eye and one gray eye stared back at me. I grabbed my contact pack out the glove box and slipped a gray colored contact on my eye.

I blinked my eyes a bit so I could get used to the feel of them before peeling off into the street and towards my school.

"Damn it Carter! How was I supposed to know she was your girl?!" I yelled at him. "She fucked me and didn't mention a word about you!" This seemed to make him angrier.

I rolled my eyes and walked away. I had reasoned enough with him.

Bang Bang.

Was all I heard before I collapsed to the floor.

I tried to get up but my leg and my back hurt like a bitch. I saw blood began to pool around my legs. Fuck. He shot me.

I groaned in pain and heard his car peel off. I was going to kill his ass. My vision started to tunnel and I saw black.

It was the end of the day and my eye has been itching me like crazy! Fucking contact. I looked in the bathroom mirror.

My eye was red and teary. I sighed and took my contact out and it felt better. I pulled my bang from behind my ear and let it cover the half of my face with the green eye.

It tickled my collar bone. I smiled and tucked my sunglasses on top of my head to keep the bang in place.

I walked out the school and to the back where my car was parked. Bang Bang. Gunshots. I saw a car peel off in to the street and turn the corner. I looked to see where it came from. By the back of the school.

I sighed and walked behind the school slowly. I heard a weak groan and saw a pool of blood. I gasped and walked closer.

A boy was laying face down on the floor shot in his back and leg. I sighed and walked over to him. The blood was getting larger by the second.

He needed help... fast. My dad and Jean would still be at work since it was only three and Dad doesn't get off till 9:30 and Jean gets off at ten.

I got closer and rolled him on his back. His breathing was shallow but he was alive. He let out a loud groan as I pulled away. I ran to my car and drove it into the alley. I left the back door open. It took me about half an hour to get him in the car.

He was heavy as fuck. I was sweating by the time I was done. I got into my car and drove back to my house. I opened the door and dragged him up the stairs, which was a miracle in itself. I huffed and placed him as gently as I could on to the bed.

I ran into the bathroom and got tweezers, peroxide, medicine and wraps. I sat down beside him and set to work.

I saw darkness. I was dead. Yep, definitely dead. A light flashed on blinding me momentarily and giving wherever I was an obscene amount of bright, white light. I cracked open my eyes and until they adjusted to the new light.

Was I in heaven? Impossible. I'm the most terrible person I know. But the girl I saw was definitely and angel. She had one half of her face covered in long, silky, midnight black hair that stopped at her collar bone, the rest fell down across her shoulders and stopped about two inches from her waist.

Her head was propped up on her hand which had long, feminine ,natural,unpainted nails. Her eyelashes were long and thick and dusted the top of her high cheekbones. My eyes wandered to her full lips.

Tan and pink lips that were slightly parted letting light breaths fall out her mouth. I chuckled to myself and let my hand wander to my back. I just realized I wasn't in pain. I looked down at my leg and torso and saw that I was bandaged up.

I stood up and felt the mattress creak under me. She shot up and ran to me. "Are you okay?" She asked me. Her voice was light and sweet.

I nodded and smirked at her. "I'll be right back." She said walking away. She had an accent. I guess she wasn't from around here. I scoffed to myself. I didn't even know her name. Wait a second... I'm not dead. I face palmed myself.

Why wasn't I in pain. Even with pain killer I should be able to feel something. She came back holding a bottle of clear liquid in her hand.

"Numbing medicine." She said quietly. She put it in my hand. "Just put it on for a couple minutes then wipe it off until you don't need it anymore and you can just use painkillers." She said turning back around and leaving my eyes to wander her full, curvy, figure. She came back with bandages.

She lifted leg up back on the bed and changed the bandage. Then, she did the same to one on my torso. I sighed as her light touches left my body.

I heard a car screech up and watched her eyes widen. "What's wrong?" I asked her quietly. "My parents are home." She responded, just as quiet.

I tossed on my shirt and walked to the window with her. "Wait." I said as she opened the window. She looked over to me. "What's your name?" I asked pulling her hair out of her face.

I looked into her eyes, she had one green eye and one gray eye. She was beautiful. "Celeste." She said covering her green eye again. "Harry." I smiled at her.

I positioned my self half way out the window with the bottle of medicine in my hand. I leaned over and pressed my lips to hers. "See you around Celeste." I said, before sliding down and running off into the dark night.
