Fan FiXtion

Hello Readers,
Today's tip is not to add too much to the introduction! When you're just starting a fan fiction, you don't need to know EVERYTHING about it, keep it simple and keep it interesting. Don't add unnecessary facts or things that don't directly relate to the plot! If you do this then people might get lazy and choose someone else's story over yours.

Another thing is don't have too many characters! Sometimes it's okay if you have about 5-7 but if you have over that then I'm sorry to say but you need to delete them! I suggest going with 2-3 main characters because they're easy to remember and depending on who you choose it gives the reader what type of fan fiction it is (e.g. Harry Styles or Niall Horan ect.).

Keep it brief too! You can give some physical features and maybe if the character is the best friend or something similar, but you don't need a full paragraph on the character! Too much isn't always good!
