I made my way to where Aubrey was waiting for her order, and greeted her.
"Hey Aubrey! I have to ask you something when we sit down, okay?" I kind of whispered the last part, to let her know it was about you know what on you know what night. When she told me, we'd agreed to keep it secret. Since then, we never told a soul. Since she wasn't pregnant, we didn't think there was any reason to tell people. Aubrey had never opened up about it to me fully, but I knew today would be the day when she did.
"Oh... um..okay?" Aubrey whispered back, unsure.
"One cinnamon cappuccino." The short man said as he handed Aubrey her order.
"Thanks," she muttered before following me to a small table in the back of the joint. We sat down and Aubs immediately started quizzing me in a quiet voice.
"What did you wanna ask me?" I suddenly became nervous, but I knew I'd better ask her now or I probably wouldn't get another chance.
"Okay, well...I think I know who raped you and I was just wondering if you remember who it was, because if it's who I think it is than ugh...I don't even know. Just- are you ready to tell me?"
" Yeah, I've kept it a secret for too long. I doubt you know him though. He doesn't go to Hillridge. I didn't even know him before- you know." she gulped. Oh. Nate's not a rapist? Well maybe I should've confirmed that before I puked on him. Ehh whatever, he's a douchebag.
" His name was Harry."
"Harry who?" I asked, taking a sip of my mocha.
"Harry Styles." My cup fell out of my hand, breaking and spilling coffee all over the linoleum floor.
