Chapter 30

~Amber's P.O.V.~

"I'm sorry," I said as I went up to Zayn and I's room with tears streaming down our face. When I walked in, I locked the door behind me and fell down against it, crying into my hands. The love of my life wants a divorce because "we aren't working out". It's like neither of us are bothering to try and so we gave up. We gave up on us. That thought made me cry even harder.

After about an hour, I stopped crying and looked around. There it was. On the bed. Our wedding tape, the one that had our vows. I couldn't even look at it, everything that Zayn had said was a lie. How he said that he always loved me, even when we weren't dating. How he said that he wouldn't stop trying to make us work. How he said that we were meant to be. Lies. All of it.

~Zayn's P.O.V.~

I called Liam and tried to keep myself from crying.
"Hey Liam, can you and Elizabeth come over?" I asked when he picked up.
"Yeah mate, are you okay?" Liam asked.
"No. I'm not," I replied while letting out a silent cry.
"Okay. We'll be over in 10." Liam stated.
"Thanks man," I said before hanging up.
I heard Amber crying from upstairs, and it made me cry. Ever since the accident we haven't been the same, and we both know it. I love her so much, but she has to live a life to remember. Not one that she'll forget.
