Eternal Love

~Zayn's P.O.V.~

"Good, because we need to talk, Amber," I said once I was by her.
"Zayn, what's wrong? You've been acting strange lately," Amber said. How am I supposed to tell her? She's the love of my life.
"Come and sit on the couch," I said as I went back into the living room. She was soon following behind me and then sat down next to me.
"What is it?" Amber asked.
"Amber, I feel like you don't need me anymore. Every sisince the accident you've been doing everything on your own, and even though I love you so much that it hurts, I know that we aren't working out. And I think you know it too," I stated.
"But even though we aren't working ou-" Amber interrupted me.
"You want a divorce, don't you Zayn," she said with tears in her eyes. I hate it so much when she's sad, but we aren't working out. And it hurts me to pretend that we are.
"I don't want one, I think we need one," I said as I knew that I had started crying too.
"But I don't underst-" Amber started.
"Amber, I'm always gone with the boys and we don't even spend much time together when I'm here. Before the accident we made it work, but it's different now," I said while trying to choke back the tears.
"I'm sorry."
