Eternal Love

~Amber's P.O.V.~

"Wake up, love," I heard as I felt a slight touch on my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see Zayn, and then I remembered that I fell asleep on the way to the psycologist's office.
"I'm up," I said, stretching my legs and arms a little.
"We're here," Zayn stated as he pulled the keys out of the ignition and exited the car. I was about to open my door when I saw Zayn walking over to open it for me. Awe, how sweet.
When we got into the building, we checked in and waited for my name to be called. Once it was, Zayn and I walked into the familiar room that we've been to many times now.
The doctor asked me if I have had any changes in memory since our last visit, and I said no. He asked a few more questions relating to the accident and my memory before writing down on his clipboard.
"I've made a diagnosis," the doctor said with a serious face. Zayn and I exchanged glances as the doctor continued.
"I don't believe that there is a proper medical term for this, but what I believe I know what is happening," the doctor said as he pulled out a diagram of a human brain, "This is a regular brain," the doctor started. He then pulled out another poster of a human brain. "This is a human brain after being damaged physically. Physical damage to the brain can cause destruction to your hippocampus, the memory part of your brain. When Amber got into the accident, it damaged her hippocampus. But what I believe is happening is that it is gradually repairing, which is what is causing the flashbacks." Zayn looked at me and then back at the doctor. "I don't think however, that you will gain your full memory back. It will take lots of time for even a tiny bit of your memory to regain, so you must be patient. Amber, you are very lucky." The doctor said as he ended.
The doctor told me and Zayn a few other facts about regaining memory, and then told me to call and leave a message if I had any more flashbacks or memory loss. And with that, we left.

Sorry if this chapter kinda sucked, it was just a filler. I will probably update again tomorrow for Christmas!!!! Happy birthday Louis!!! Peter Pan will never grow up, he's forever young in all of our hearts. <3
How is everyone's break going? Today is also my aunt's birthday, but I chose to celebrate Louis' instead.
Should I keep writing? I know that people read my story, but I don't get a lot of feedback.
