Chapter 23

~Amber's P.O.V.~

I said them? When did I say that?
"What do you mean I said them?" I asked Zayn suspiciously.
"At our wedding, in your vows you said them," Zayn replied. Oh. I guess I said that. Moments like these are the ones that make me wish that I could remember. "Do you wanna see our wedding video?" Zayn asked, now looking into my eyes.
"Ye- I don't know," I said as I thought it over. If I see it, maybe it'll make me have another flashback so I can remember. "Yeah, I wanna see it."
Zayn got the tape from downstairs and put it in the VCR. I watched it intently.
"Amber, I know we're young and that we still have a lot of life ahead of us, and that everyone is telling me to wait and that we don't need to rush this; but I don't want to wait. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, starting now." Zayn said as he finished his vows. Now was my turn. I leaned into the tv a bit more.
"Zayn, I know that we will last forever. Of course, that's what everyone says at first. But unlike the ones that didn't last,
we actually have love. We will last. Because we have hope. Hope creates eternal love that will last forever. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you too, through sickness and health, through rain and sun. I love you, Zayn."
I couldn't even figure out what to say, or for that matter, how I even feel. We were perfect, so young and happy. We still are young, and we still are happy. But ever since the accident, we aren't perfect. Not anymore.
"That was the second best day of my life," Zayn said, still looking at the tv.
"What was the best day?" I asked, confused.
"The day I met you," Zayn answered as he leaned in for a kiss. Our lips touched, and the kiss was passionate in almost an instant. I kissed back hungrily, wanting more and more. He's always so nice as caring, and it shocks me how much he has done tonstaynwith me. All the sacrifices, pain, patience. All for me.
