Chapter 16

~Zayn's P.O.V.~

I'm glad that Amber asked about her past today, because I was really nervous about telling her, I didn't know how she would react. After dinner, we went into the living room and watched a few movies.
"Zayn, when can we call Elizabeth?" Amber asked after the last movie. Her eyes were barely open, it was really late. I picked her up and carried her bridal style to our bed.
"How about tomorrow?" I said as I set her down and put a blanket on her.
"Mmm, sounds great," she replied as she snuggled deeper into the bed. I crawled into bed behind her and put my arm around her waist. At least she's still here with me. I'm thankful for that. I watched her drift off to sleep in my arms, and then I went to sleep too.

~Amber's P.O.V.~

I woke up and tried to get out of bed, and then remembered Zayn had his arm around me. I remembered what happened last night too, about Elizabeth and the text messages. She must have been devastated when the accident happened. There's a lot of stuff I wish I could remember, all good things that Zayn has told me. There must have been bad things, and I want to remember those too...
"Zayn, get up." He opened his eyes and smiled. He gently pecked my lips.
"What do you want for breakfast beautiful?" He asked.
"Whatever you make," I said as I kissed him on the cheek.
He got up to make breakfast while I got dressed. I decided on a white crop-top and a pair of skinny jeans. I went downstairs and breakfast was done.
I sat down at the table and ate across from Zayn. When I was almost done with my eggs, I piped up.
"So, when can we call Elizabeth?" I asked. He looked up at me.
"Whenever you want to, but she'll probably be with Liam," he replied. I think he could see the questionable look on my face.
"They're dating," he said as if reading my mind.
"Oh," I said back. I guess that's good to know, he will probably come up in a conversation.
When it was around 10:30, I decided that I wanted to call her. Zayn held my hand as I pressed dial. "Zayn, I'm not sure if I can do this." I said as a tear began to roll down my cheek.
"It's okay honey," Zayn said assuringly "she's your best friend. It'll go well." and he ended it with a smile. I put the phone to my ear.
"Hello?" Said a female voice.
"Hey, is this Elizabeth?" I asked.
"Yes who is th- OMG AMBER?!? How are you? We haven't talked in so long!" Wow. Someone is definately excited.
"Hey Elizabeth," I said who chuckling a bit. "Would you and Liam maybe want to come over for dinner tonight?" I asked.
"Sure! That'd be great! How's 5:30?" She asked.
"Perfect, see ya then," I said as I hung up.

~Elizabeth's P.O.V.~

I practically screamed after that phone call.
"LIAM!!!!!" I yelled.
"What is it babe?" He said as he came down the stairs.
"Elizabeth just called and asked if we wanted to come over to her and Zayn's for dinner!" his eyes widened in shock before he came running towards me with a smile on his face.
"That's amazing! What time are we going over?" he asked while embracing me in a hug.
"Around 5:30" I said as he let go of me and gave me a
a kiss.
"I can't wait to see them! It's been forever!!" Liam said.
"Me too!" I said before we went into the kitchen to make lunch. What am I going to wear?
