Stole My Heart

I stayed in Niall's arms until I had stopped shaking and breathing heavily. He was so sweet and he really cared about me. He led me over to the area where the others were sitting and we sat down.

"Better now?" Nina asked, genuinely concerned.

"Yeah." I replied nodding.

"You don't sound very sure." Heather said eyeing me suspiciously.

"Guys, I'm fine." I snapped, a bit exasperated. "Sorry," I said after a while. "I didn't mean to snap, I'm just really tired. It's been a long, crazy, amazing day."

"Do you want us to take you girls home?" Harry asked.

"I guess it is kinda late." Sarah replied after a while.

I don't think that any of us wanted this night to end but I guess it had to...

"You guys could sleep over at my house tonight if you want to." I said gesturing to Nina. Sarah, and Heather. They just nodded and we all tried to relax. We asked the boys if they could stop at their houses to grab their stuff.

Heather came over to me after a while. She looked like she had something important t o tell me. She looked like the happiest person ever.

"Laurel, you're never going to believe this but Louis William Tomlinson just asked me out." she said flapping her arms and fangirling.

"Oh my gosh, that's great!" I said fangirling with her. I looked over at Louis and he seemed to be telling the other boys the news. I was happy for them, but it all seemed to be happening too fast. They've known each other for less than two days. I know I wouldn't rush into a relationship with someone I hardly knew. I was feeling something else - a little spark of jealousy? I just kept thinking about how I wished I had someone. Niall had treated me kindly and I was pretty sure that he did care about me - but not like that. But the way that he and Luke looked at me made me forget about all of my insecurities and made me feel like I was actually important - like I was actually wanted. I tried to push the feeling away and tried to focus on being happy for Heather and Louis.

I leaned my head against the wall and sat there for a while, realizing that I was on One Direction's tour bus! And trying to take in that one of my best friends was dating someone from One Direction - never thought I'd say that!
