The Story of Her Life

Katt's POV

I sat in the water a while longer just staring at the boys playing thinking of what just happened. After what felt like forever I decided that doing this was stupid so I got up and walked over to where the girls were. I grabbed my towel and dried my body then sat on it in the sand.
"Was that fun?" Vanessa hinted with a playing smile.
"Umm more like interesting and weird than fun." I said.
"Oh how so?"
"Oh um its nothing just that the water is different here." I fake smiled. Ok now that sounded really stupid. I wish I would of said something different. Vanessa looked at me with a confused look but dropped it seeing as I didn't want to talk about it anymore. Later that day I decided to go for a walk down the beach to clear my head and think a little. Then Zayn said that he was going to. Well there goes my chance of thinking.
"So who won the game." I started to start a conversation as we began our walk.
"Oh well Louis and Niall did." He said sortta uncomfortably.
"Bummer."
"So what was with you and Louis?"
"Nothing. Why?"
"You looked a little shocked when you came out of the water and a little more out of breath than normal."
"Oh it just that the water was colder the second time in and I cant hold my breath very long that's all." I shifted uncomfortably.
"Oh well maybe then you would want to go out with me this Friday?"
"Like on a date?"
"Oh um yah I guess."
"Then yes I would love to go on a date with you Zayn Malik!"
He just smiled and we started back to the others.

When we got back it was dark so the others had started a bond fire. Everyone was seated on logs around the fire. I sat down in between Vanessa and Louis. As soon as I sat down Lou pulled me onto his lap causing Niall and Zayn to send cold glares in his direction. He didn't seem fazed by this though. When I started to move off he held my hips in place with his large hands...
