We walked out the door and were on our way to orientation.

I feel like singing again. I like to sing In different lanages!

We finished the song and when we had we were standing in front of the building that orientation would be held in.

"Well here it is!" Audrey said excitedly. I'm not sure how she can be so excited, she's gone here forever.

"Yup." I said nervously.

"Hey.." She said soothingly giving me a hug. "You'll be fine, you'll make lots of friends and don't worry, I'll be here. Just like always."

I nodded my head. We let go of our hug, pushed open the huge doors and walked inside.

"Hey! Audrey! Is that you?" As soon as we walked in the building a tall girl who was in a group of other tall girls called Audrey over.

"Hey Mandy!" She yelled back. She grabbed my hand and pulled me over.

"Hey guys this is my friend Victoria. It's her first year here. And Vikki, this is Mandy. She is head of the girls basket ball team. And these lovely ladies are katlyn, Addy and Vanessa." She said pointing out each girl. "They are also on the team."

"Hi." I said with a little wave.

"Alright well we will see you later!" Audrey said and we walked into the door to the right. It led to a big auditorium where we took seats in the 3rd to last row.

"Trust me, we do not want to be in front." She said."I gave her a confused look.

"You'll see." She said.

I looked at the clock. Still two minutes here this thing is supposed to start. I took the time to look around. There were lots of kids here, I saw a few that looked my age. Then I saw a girl staring at us, she looked mean.

"Hey Audrey.."

"Wha?"

"Who's that girl over there?" I asked pointing. She looked over and shook her head with a look of discuss on her face.

"That's _gia_. She is a popular mean girl. She has hated me ever since my first year here when I accidentally," she said accidentally while she made air quotes with her fingers. "Spilled my tray of food on her in the lunch room in second semester. But hey she had it coming, she called me a b*tch for no reason. I'd stay away from her if I were you.

I nodded my head.

"Hello hello hello!!!" A man said walking on stage. We all got quiet.

"Welcome students new and old, silver and gold and whatever else rhymes!" He said. Most people laughed, the older students looked like they had heard this joke before and were not amused.

"For those of you who don't know me I am principal Johnson, but you may call me John. I know I know... My parents have such imaginations. John Johnson."

Another fit of laughter by most.

"Now.. Let's all bow our heads and take a moment of silence to appreciate the new school year." He said. Many students did, atleast the ones that looked like new students like me.

"Pst." Audrey said nudging me.

"Look at the front row. Here it comes." She whispered.

I lifted my head. After like 5 seconds I heard a bunch of yelling and adults, who appeared to be teachers, all came from the wings of the stage carrying squirt guns and squirting the first few rows.

There was lots of screaming from everyone but it only lasted a minute because the teachers stopped and ran out the back of the room.

"Like I said... WELCOME TO GREEN!!" Principal Johnson said while laughing. Everyone was doubled over, except the people in the front row.

"SITTIN IN THYE SPLASH ZONE SUCKAZ!!!!" Audrey yelled.

Another roar of laughter.

"Nice one." I said and we fist bumped.

"Ok ok settle down, let's get started shall we?"

---skip orientation speech---

"Ok now before you go to sign up for classes remember... Try to stay dry!" He said, referring back to the beginning of orientation.

We all laughed again and got up and filed into the halls.

I followed Audrey holding onto her hand for dear life, we were surrounded by people.

We finally got to the end of the hall and went through a set of doors which led to a huge gym. There were tables set up everywhere with signs listing the classes.

"Ok so you wanna do art, music, xtreme, and skateboarding. Like me right?" I nodded my head.

"Can we also do dance?" I asked with puppy dog eyes, she can never resist mine.

"Ok fine. But that's a lot of work. But we can do it, alright music first."

We went to get in line for music.

"Hey!" A male voice shouted behind us. It sounded so familiar.

------*switches to Audrey's POV*--------

We turned around to see the group of boys we met earlier.

"Hey!" Vikki said back as they got in line behind us.

"Looks like you guys had fun at orientation." I said, they must have sat in the front row because they were soaked.

"Ya sure." Said, I think his name was Louis, sarcastically.

"Wait ok, sorry this is embarrassing but I forgot your names." I said.

"That's fine." Said the blonde one.

"Right ok," said the one with the curls, "I'm Harry, that's Louis, Niall, Zayn and Liam." He said pointing to each boy. I mentally repeated the list.

"Ok thanks." I said.

"So you guys are signing up for music too?" Vikki asked.

"Yeah, we actually are kinda in a band. Just you know like us goofing off and stuff and a few gigs here and there. Just the typical school boy band, nothing big." Said Liam.

"Cool, yeah we duet." Vikki said.

"That's awesome!" Said Louis.

"Actually, later in the year they do a battle of the bands here. You guys should sign up. Or you could do the talent show, or both." I said.

"Sounds cool!" Said Niall.

"Next!" Said the woman at the table.

We turned around to find ourselves at the front of the line.

"Hey Ms. Mags!" I said. I had her last year for music.

She looked up from her papers and immediately a smile filled her face.

"Why hello Audrey! Nice to see you again, it's been a whole summer you know. Is this your friend Victoria you told me so much about?" She said. I nodded.

"So you're signing up for music again? Good choice you are quite excellent. And I'm sure you would too?" She asked motioning towards Vikki.

"Yeah." Vikki said.

"Don't worry I'll put you both in the same class." She said with a wink. She signed us up and we waved goodbye to her and the boys.

"Catch you later." I said to the boys and they smiled and waved.

We then around and finished signing up for classes. It's now 6:30.

"Wanna go get some food? Or just eat what we have at the dorm?" I asked.

"can we just eat at the dorm tonight? It's been a long day and I'm tired." She replied.

"Sounds good, I'm tired too and we gotta get up early to go to the activities fair, well not early but I think it starts at eleven." I said.

"Ok sounds good."

We went back to the dorm and ate dinner, then we watched t.v. for a while until Vikki fell asleep with Jacob in her arms. I looked over at the clock and saw it was 10:00. That's not super late but hey, it's been a long day. I took Jacob and put him in his little bed then carried Vikki to her bed and tucked her in. Then I turned off the t.v. Got into my pajamas, turned off the lights and went to sleep myself, but not before setting our alarm. I figured we should get up atleast semi early so I set it for 8:00. Atleast I'll be up by then. Then I fell asleep.
