Hanging By A Moment

Samantha's POV:
A couple of days later the boys flew to France for the NRJ awards. 'Baby congratulations!' I congratulated him after I found out they won for best international group of the year. 'Thanks, babe' he chuckled. 'Are you guys off to the after party?' I ask. 'Yeah we are' he replied. 'Oh okay, well I'll let you go then, bye' I spoke. 'Love you' he said. 'I love you too' I smiled as I said the words. I sighed as I found myself all alone in this big house. I walked up the stairs and headed to the bedroom. I turned the radio on and brushed my teeth. The boy's song 'Back for you' was playing as I brushed my teeth, I started to dance along to it.

I spat the bubbles out and rinse my mouth.'Stars from around the world have arrived in France for the NRJ awards ' the radio presenter started talking. I gargled my mouth with some mouthwash to finish up. 'And from the looks of it many of them have checked in to the hotel Majestic Barriere, including Harry Styles with his bandmates and Taylor Swift' I spat the liquid out as I heard her name. 'Who knows maybe they're sharing a room or even a bed. As we all know they-' I turned the radio off before I could hear anymore. I went to bed and erase off my mind everything I just heard. 'Nothings gonna happen. You trust him remember' I said to myself.

I woke up the next day feeling excited for the boy's return home in the evening. I made breakfast and turned the TV. 'Well, congratulations to our boys who won the biggest award at the NRJ awards last night' the host reported.I smiled at the boys achievement. 'A little fan approached them on the red carpet and cried over meeting the boys in person' the announcer smiled as a video of the boys on the red carpet came up. 'Naww' I sang out. A little girl wearing earmuffs gave Louis a bunch of flowers. Zayn rubbed her back to comfort her as she began to cry while Harry asked her not to cry. I think my heart just melted.

'Also one of last night's highlight,was Taylor Swift's performance of her song You Belong with me. Many say she sang it to Harry Styles, as he sat in the crowd' the smile on my face disappeared. 'Styles and Swift both dated shortly last year and ever since, Swift has been single while Styles have moved on with girlfriend Samantha Robertson' I changed the channel not wanting to hear anymore.

DING DONG DING DONG! The doorbell interrupted.

'Hey' Perrie, El, and Dani greeted. 'Hey girls' I gave them a hug each. The were staying here for the night to help me with some wedding prep and to keep me company. 'Your mail man just dropped by' El handed me mails and newspapers. 'Thanks' I took them of her and led them inside the house. 'Haylor reunion?' the girl on the tv uttered as we entered the lounge. 'Last night at the NRJ after party, Harry and Taylor were spotted getting cosy. One source even says the Tay-tay gave Harry a kissed on the cheek. Oh uh Harry, tsk tsk' the girl shook her head. 'Sammie, don't listen to that' Perrie turned the tv off. 'I'm sure the boys didn't let Harry off their sight last night' Dani placed her hand on my back. 'Yeah' I flashed a tight lipped smiled. 'Well come on, your bridesmaid are here, we have work to be done' El announced.

Thanks to the girls help, I'd manage to tick a lot of things off the wedding checklist. 'The boys aren't landing for another 30 minutes' Perrie yawned. 'Girls, if you wanna sleep, your rooms are ready upstairs' I informed them. 'I can stay down here and wait for the boys, if you girls wanna sleep?' Dani suggested. 'I think I'm gonna sleep' El started to get up. 'I think I am too' I turned to Perrie and Dani who by the looks of it were willing to wait for the boys arrival.

I flopped myself on to my bed and closed my eyes. Ding! I turned and saw something flashed on my laptop. It was an email from Anna about the performance line up for Radio 1's teen awards. I read it then opened up internet explored. My homepage; MSN news had a picture of Harry on the top page, the title read 'Haylor alert'. I clicked on it and read the article.

'After both picking up awards at the NRJ. Harry and Taylor both had something to celebrate about. Maybe even their reunion'. I started playing with my engagement ring as I continued to read the article. I decided to google his name and searched for the latest news. Soon I found myself opening multiple reports of him in last 24 hours.

'Haylor rendezvous at the Majestic Barriere?' the women reported in the video clip.

'When the cat's away the mice will come out to play' a women in another video uttered. 'That's exactly what Harry did' she continued.

I took a deep breath. 'Sammie you can't judge him, this is not fair on him' I muttered to myself

But still my hands insisted and continued to open more tabs.

Harry's POV:
'Home sweet home' I uttered when the van pulled up on the driveway. 'Thanks for letting us crash Haz' Niall patted my back. 'No worries' I began to made out of the van.

'We're home' I announced as we entered. 'Hey' Dani and Perrie sat up on the couch. Liam and Zayn went up to kiss them. 'Where's Sammie and El' Louis asked. 'Sleeping upstairs' Perrie pointed up. We all decided to head up and get some rest. 'Goodnight' everyone chorused as they headed in different rooms.

I entered the room and Sammie was laying with the duvet covering just her knees and the laptop next to her . I took my watch off and my polo before walking up to her fatigued body. I pulled the duvet up to her shoulders and took her hand off the laptop. There was a video playing that she must have been watching. I took the laptop and saw the video was about Taylor and I running into each other last night. I closed my eyes frustrated at the media. I exited the video, wishing that Sammie didn't watch it. When the page was closed another page came up with multiple tabs opened. 'Haylor alert, "You belong with me Harry" Taylor sings, Tay tay is back, One more chance?' Sammie had read many articles. I closed all of them and shut the laptop closed. I ran my fingers through my hair and then rested my hands on my head. I don't know why I was fussing over this, nothing happened last night.

Samantha's POV:
The next morning, I opened my eyes to see Harry staring at me as he sat on a chair by the bed. 'Morning' he greeted with a smile. 'Morning' I rubbed my eyes then sat up on the bed. I looked to my left and my laptop was gone, Harry must have seen the tabs opened. I kept my head down low as he moved to the bed and sat next to me. 'I'm sorry' I muttered. 'Sammie, I'm just worried that you read all those articles' he took my hands and rubbed his thumbs up and down. 'I'd wish you didn't pay any attention to any of that' he leaned his head down to try and meet my gaze. 'Nothing happened. She was trying to talk things up with me, but I tried to avoid her the whole night' I explained. 'You don't have to explain. I trust you' I finally looked up at him. 'I love you' he said softly. I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned my head on his chest.'I love you too' I replied.
