Chapter 27

~ Harry's POV ~

I watched as she slammed it behind her. I went numb. All realization hit me as I stood and stared at the exit she just used seconds ago. We're done. She ended it. I felt as if she stabbed me in the heart and left someone else to pick up the peices of what had remained.

"Harry-" I held up my hand, indicating for Zayn to stop whatever he was about to say. I wanted to go back to my room but I found myself walking towards the front door and leaning my forehead on it. I heard the faint sobs of Audrey on the other side of the door, and I knew she was probably doing the same thing I was.....grieving, regretting, crying. After a few moments her sobs faded out and I let more tears fall, knowing that she was walking away.

"Fuck." I muttered.

"Hey...don't worry about it, Haz. You guys are in love." Louis assured, but I just slowly turned around to face all of the nervous faces.

"Did you see the way she looked at me? She was just waiting for me to agree with her. She wanted me to tell her she was right and I should move on...how could she ever expect me to say that?" My voice was slightly hushed and strained.

"Maybe she has a point..." Niall started and I snapped my head to glare at him.

"What the fuck do you mean?" I seethed and he gulped down his shaky voice.

"Audrey is a sweet girl....but she comes with a lot of drama. Don't you think you deserve someone who doesn't bring you into her own problems?" Anger rushed through me and I clenched my fists at my sides.

"No. Audrey isn't just a "sweet girl". She is the most amazing girl I have ever met and I'm sorry none of you can see how absolutely beautiful she is, inside and out. She doesn't have problems, she doesn't have flaws...she just has a past. Don't think for one second all she was doing was dragging me into drama, because I was helping her through her hardships." I snapped before walking down the hall and into my bedroom where Audrey's things still remained. I walked over to her suitcase and pulled out one of her favorite sweat-shirts she has, and hugged it to my chest letting her scent fill my senses. I fell back to the bed and covered my body with the blankets as I attempted at some sleep.
