Chapter 2

~ Audrey's POV ~

My eyes fluttered open, and I found myself smiling. Soon enough my stomach turned up and I sprinted to the bathroom, heaving over the toilet once I reached it. I felt a warm hand on my back and jumped. I flushed the toilet and rinsed my mouth out looking at the person that joined me in the bathroom,

"Goodmorning, Joseph. Sorry you had to see that." I apologized turning around and grabbing my toothbrush, and tooth paste.

"Goodmorning, and it's alright. I heard you from the kitchen, and thought I should probably come help you. Are you okay?" My friend had the sweetest boyfriend.

"I'm fine. Thanks." I rinsed my toothbrush out and set it down walking back into my room, and fixing up the bed a little bit.

"So, I know you don't want to talk about it, but...what happened? How are you pregnant, what happened with Zachary." I looked up at him and sighed. He gave me a small smile, and I ran a nervous hand through my knotted hair.

"As you know, me and Zachary were dating for three years. About a month ago, I gave it up to him, my virginity. And a couple weeks ago I found out I was pregnant. Once I told him...he broke it off. He said he wanted nothing to do with me or the pregnancy because he needed to focus on his future. Aaannnd that, brings us here." He looked at me with sad eyes, and a warm expression.

"I'm sorry." He whispered coming over and hugging me. I didn't really have any thing to say, so I just hugged back. I've known Joseph since 8th grade. Deborah had the cutest crush on him, and I always thought they would be so freaking cute together. After 8th grade, he went to another high school, while me and Deborah stayed. She was devastated, and It was an awful year for us. After freshman year, Joseph came back for her, and they have been together ever since.

"Good morning, loves." Deborah greeted while coming into the bedroom. Me and Joseph pulled away, and I noticed I was crying.

"Joseph! What did you do?!" She yelled accusingly. I laughed and she pulled me in for a protective hug, shoving my face underneath her neck.

"Nothing! I was only talking to her about...." He trailed off, and looked at the ground nervously.

"Joseph! I told you we weren't going to talk about him this summer!" She yelled hitting his arm. He winced and I pulled away from her suffocating grasp.

"Guys, calm the fuck down! We are done with this conversation! Especially because I can't drink coffee!" I said with a joking glare on my face.

"Okay, okay. What do you want to do today?!" Deborah exclaimed flopping on my bed. I repeated her actions mockingly, and let out a sigh.

"Beach!" I yelled. I could see Joseph jump from the volume of my voice, and I chuckled.

"Yeah, sounds good." Deborah said getting up and leaving the room.

"Jo....you can leave you know. Go get ready for the beach...." He gave me a thumbs up before walking out of the room and shutting the door.

I grabbed a beach towel from my suitcase, and put my sunglasses on over my eyes, walking into the kitchen area where Deborah, and Joseph were already waiting for me.

"Ready?" He asked. I smiled and nodded my head. We all walked out of the hotel suite, and I locked the door behind me.

"Which beach are we going to?" I asked, them saw e exited the elevator.

"The one with water." Joseph replied. I hit his arm with the back of my hand, and Deborah laughed.

"I don't know, let's just go to the one we saw passing by yesterday." I nodded my head at her suggestion , and we started off down the sidewalk.

"So, have you seen a doctor?" Joseph asked. Deborah angrily grunted and glared at him. He took a step away from her, and I chuckled.

"Yeah. We went after he dumped me." I said, not wanting to let my feelings out. This summer I was not going to show anyone how I am really feeling. It'll hurt too much.
It got quiet, and I kept walking down the street as if nothing was brought up.

"This beach looks nice." I said turning, and stepping onto the warm sand. They followed me, and we chatted about random things until we stopped and set our things on the ground. I removed my cover-up, and was left in my blue bikini, and laid my towel down on the sand. Before I could lay down, the two had run off into the water and were being that cute couple me and Zachary used to be. Why did they have to be so perfect for each other? Why does he have to be the most caring boyfriend in this world?

"Ello. Would you mind if I sat here with you, I was planning I taking this spot, but once I got here you had already taken it." I moved my head in the direction of the Irish accent, and peered at him through the top of my sunglasses.

"Bro, you have the whole beach." I said. Whoa. He was....hot to say the least.

"Yeah, but me and my friends over there, were really looking forward to this spot." His blonde hair held a cute little quiff, where it was blonde at the top, but his roots were dark brown.

"Fine, but if you guys annoy me even the slightest bit, shit will go down." I said a hint of humor in my voice. He laughed, and waved his friends over. I laid my hope ad back on the towel, and closed my eyes. I heard whispering from above me and my eyes shot open. I stood up and looked at 5 very attractive boys.

"Hi, love." One of them said. I looked at them and smiled a bit before looking at the blonde one.

"Dude! I didn't know there were four more! I figured only like two!" I exclaimed. He shrugged and they all sat on one big towel together.

"Audrey...Are these boys bothering you?" Joseph asked. I turned around and saw a very posses off Joseph, and a curious looking Deborah.

"Give it five more minutes then I'll tell you." I said to them. I heard the blonde one laugh again, and I rolled my eyes.

"At least give me one of your names." I said turning back to them.

"Okay, well he's Niall, Liam, Harry, Louis, and I'm Zayn." The one with the black hair said. Zayn. Cute name. Cute boys.

"Niall, if you laugh one more time at anything I say, I'll kick you in the balls." I seethed. He smiled, and I saw a laugh bubbling up but he kept it down.

"And you, the curly one. Harry! Right okay, you tell me why you really wanted to come over here and invade our spot." I asked crossing my arms over my chest and looking at him.

"Well, we just always have this spot when we come here." He shrugged. I nodded my head before turning back to Deborah, and Joseph.

"Are you guys rapists?" Joseph asked out of the blue. I gaped my mouth at him and hit his wet, bare chest.

"Joseph! You don't ask that!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, we seem to have caused you guys trouble, and uncomfortableness, it's just this our special spot. We always come here and we always sit here." Liam said standing up. I smiled lightly at him, and he returned it.

"Okay. I'll stop being a bitch. I just....I'm protective and-" Joseph cut me off.

"She's preserved. the first time I met her she was a complete....." He trailed off as I glared at him. "Delight, and I love her so much." He tried covering up. I rolled my eyes and looked back the the five boys.

"I'm Audrey. This is Joseph and Deborah. And if you don't mind, I'm still going to lay here." I said putting my sunglasses back on and crashing my back to the towel.

"No problem." I heard Harry mutter under his breath. Oh, how I love British accents.
