Showdows of My Heart

Each day after school, I walk home listening to music. Today when I was walking home, the little white fluffs fell from the sky. As I walk over the bridge, the ground is completely white and beautiful. My music stops unexpectedly in the middle of a song. I sit down on the bench and look over out to the river. It's silent and peaceful. For once, everything seems nice, joyful, wonderful. Half a Heart starts to play as I look out to the distance. "And being here with out you is like I'm waking up to... only half a blue sky, kind of there but not quite, I'm walking around with just one shoe, I'm half a heart." the music plays. I than realize why everything is bad in my life. Something is missing and it's making everything seem worthless. I just didn't know what was missing. The voice of Niall's solo warms my heart and sends a wonderful feeling through my body. I text my parents saying I would be home later tonight. I just want to sit here on this bench, listen to my music, and enjoy this moment. The sky gets darker and the stars appear one by one. I haven't had a moment like this in a long time. I feel somebody sit next to me but I don't bother to look up. Time is frozen and my mind is only focused on one thing, what is missing from my life. I look back in m mind and play every moment where I'm saddest to try to figure it out. Than it hits me. All the couples being together, laughing, and hugging. I'm left alone, single, all I want is that special someone. But I don't like anybody who knows me. I've had my heart set on one person, but people say it's impossible, it'll never come true, he'll only know me in my dreams. I decide it's getting a little cold as the snow continues to fall down. I stand up and begin to walk, but only two steps into my journey home, I slip on some ice and fall. My head hits the ground and I hold it in pain. "Are you okay!?!" I hear a panicked voice say. "Yeah, just slipped that's all." I say as a hand reaches out to me. I accept the hand and look at where I fell. "I better take you to the hospital." the voice says. Everywhere is white, except for a small circle of red from where my head landed. I look at my hand that held my head and see it is covered in blood. "No, I'm fin..." I begin to say as I pass out.

*The one who saved her
She passes out and I catch her in my arms. I pick the unknown girl up and cradle her in my arms as I walk to the hospital. Her blood falls drips from her head and onto my green jacket. After about a half mile of walking, we reach the hospital. I take her phone from her pocket and call her parents. "Hello? Hi, I am Niall Horan. Your daughter was walking home and slipped on some ice and slit her head open. Okay. I'll take her home when she is released. May I have your address? Okay. Thank you." She stays unconscious for when the staples are being put into her head. "She'll have to stay here over night." the doctor says. "I'll be back in about an hour. I have to go do something." I tell the doctor. I leave and walk to the stores across the street. It's nice having a lot of money to buy things for people. I found out the girl's name is Kandy. I buy Kandy some a box of chocolates, a giant jumbo teddy bear, flowers, a card, and a balloon. I come across and aisle with shelves of everything One Direction. I decide to get her the Niall doll, so she'll remember me. I walk outside with probably the worlds largest gift bag and I take out my phone to make a call. "Hello, Liam, can you text or call all the boys and tell them to come to the hospital down town? Because I met a girl named Kandy and she fell and passed out. She's staying at the hospital over night. Okay thanks. Oh yeah! Bring lots of balloon, and tell the others too. Because wouldn't you like it if you got lots of balloons after being in the hospital? Well I would and everyone else would too! Okay thank you Liam. Bye." I walk back over to the hospital and walk back up to Kandy's room. I but the teddy bear on the window seat, the chocolates on the table with the card on top, and the balloons against the wall. I sit around as Kandy sleeps. Around 10 o'clock p.m, the boys arrive. Liam, Zayn, and Harry bring about 5 balloons each and than Louis has about 20 balloons. "See Liam! People do like balloons!" I say pointing at Liam. We all sit around and than eventually asleep.
Before Kandy wakes up, the boys leave to get breakfast.

*Kandy's point of view
A familiar laugh surrounds my ears and wakes me up. I look outside and see the snow is still falling hard. The laugh sounds again. I look up with my eyes still squinted as I adjust to the dim light only coming from the outside. I look up to see a blonde laughing and holding a giant teddy bear. It seems I have known him forever and he is just another friend. "Niall?" I say and laugh back
