You Only Find Love Once

Michaela's POV

"Michaela" i heard a whisper. "Michaela"
"Yes" i whispered back.
"Was you on Twitter last night?"
Oh shit. Niall must of seen the photo.
"I'm sorry please don't hate me" i said and turned around to face Niall in bed.
"No it's not my problem it's more of your problem" he smirked.
"What do you mean?"
"I think you should check Twitter yourself" he chuckled.
I picked my phone up and quickly looked at my Twitter account.
I looked at my updates and saw a picture that Niall put on there of me.
In bed.
"Niall i can't believe you" i groaned and turned around to see a smirking Niall.
"Payback"
"Your such a dick"
"I have a dick well done"
"Really? I didn't know that" i said in a dumb voice.
"Yes you do. you have seen it before" he laughed.
"You don't have to remind me" i cringed.
I'm not even going into that story.
"What?" he laughed.
"Your disgusting" i giggled getting up from bed.
"Where do you think your going?" Niall chuckled and pulled me by my waist back onto the bed.
"Niall i need to get up" i laughed as Niall started to tiggle me.
Niall pulled me back into his chest kept me in his grip.
"Niall let me go"
"No"
"Why?"
"Because i want to cuddle with you"
"Why"
"Because you are my best friend and i love you" he smiled and hugged me tighter.
Niall if you only knew how much i loved you, more than just best friends.
"I love you too" i smiled.
He kissed my cheek and pulled me down so i was on his chest.
"Don't you think we should get up now?"
"What's the time?" he asked.
"9:30am"
"Well visiting hours don't start till 11 so do you just want to lay in bed?"
"Hmm do you want to? or do you want to go see Greg?"
"Everyone is probably still in bed sleeping. Lets just stay in bed" he said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Ok"

"Michaela get up we can got to the hospital" I heard.
"Niall?"
"Yeah"
"Can you carry me to the car?"
"You have legs, use them"
"I'm so tired though" I moaned into the pillow.
"So you want me to carry you to the car and then through the hospital in your pyjamas?"
"You can dress me as well"
"Don't think so"
"Come on you know you want to" i cooed.
"If you don't get up i will chuck water on you"
"Do it and then see what happens"
"Fine" he laughed and then i heard my door shut.
If he actually does this i will end up killing the little shit.
I heard footsteps outside my door and the door opened.
"Niall if your serious i will..." i was cut of by freezing cold water splashing all over me.
"Told ya" he smirked.
I looked down at myself and i was soaked.
"You know what I'm not going to retaliate, I'm just going to do this" i giggled and jumped from my bed and wrapped my arms around him.
"No get off me" he whined.
"I hope you like wet hugs" i laughed and let go of him.
"Your such a bitch"
"Yeah but you love it" i laughed.
"Can you hurry up and get dressed now"
"I will as soon as i get dried"
"Fine i will be waiting down stairs" he whined and left my room.

Niall's POV

I've been waiting 20 minutes for Michaela to get dried and dressed.
It was quite funny how she reacted but i loved it.
But not as much as i love her.
Last night when i came over it was just like old times. Having sleepovers and goofing around. I miss how the old times were.
I love having her around me. She is just the light and love of my life.
If only she felt the love i felt for her, things would be so different.
Being back in Mullingar with her always brings back the memories we had together.
We was inseparable, we did everything together. Literally.
There was not a day without me seeing Michaela.
I always came round to see her or she came round to see me. Friends always teased us about our relationship. Always saying that we should date and be a couple.
I don't know how many times i got butterflies being around her. She has always had a effect on me. I walked over to the fireplace in Michaela's living room and saw a picture of me and her right before prom.
Oh prom was the night.
The night i realised i was fully in love with Michaela.
The night that i made my mind up and i wanted to marry that girl. The picture just made me smile.
Even though i didn't take my dream girl to prom i still made that night special for her. I ditched my date so i could look after her when her boyfriend left her that night.
But i think it was something special because,
I kissed her.
The kiss was the best kiss i have ever had before and after and nobody else can beat that.
It hurt me so much seeing her with boys that didn't deserve her. That didn't listen or care.
But i always made sure that i got them back for breaking her heart.
I placed the photo back and then her loud thumps from the stairs and then Michaela was at the bottom of the stairs finally dressed and dried.
"Hey, you finally ready to go?"
"Yeah let's go" she smiled and grabbed her phone. We got into the cab that i called and told the man where to go.
"You going to be okay today?"
"Yeah, i think" she huffed.
"Well I'm here so don't worry"
"Thank you Niall" she smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Just please promise me you won't cry?"
"Why?"
"Because it breaks my heart to see you cry and then i want to cry"
"Aw Niall, i promise i will try my hardest. I hate seeing you so sad" she smiled and took my hand in hers.
I loved the fact that her hands were smaller than mine. I don't know why but i just do,
She put her head on my chest and started to circle my torso.
Seriously, is she trying too make me hard.
Last night was a close one.
I got hard when Michaela brushed her hand across my man area. I had to like lean away from her just in case if anything started to poke her if you know what i mean.
We arrived at the hospital and i quickly paid the man and walked in.
We found the rooms straight away as we came here yesterday.

Michaela's POV

I saw my dad and brother talking to a doctor and i quickly ran up to them.
"Hey what's going on?"
"Well mum is going to be okay and she will make a recovery but slowly" dad said.
"Oh thank god" i breathed and felt a tear of joy role down my cheek.
"So when will she be aloud to come out the hospital?"
"Approximately 2 weeks" the doctor smiled.
"Oh right, is she awake?"
"Yes you can go see her if you wish"
"Yes thanks. You guys coming?" I asked my dad and brother.
"We have already spoken and she said that she wanted some space but wanted to see you when you came" my brother spoke.
"Okay, see you in a minute" i smiled and walked in the room.
"Mum?"
"Honey" she smiled.
"How are you?" i smiled and ran in her arms.
"Ouch mind it" she chuckled.
"Sorry mum"
"It's ok"
"So how are you?"
"I've been better"
"Oh mum i was so worried"
"Now stop that Michaela, I wouldn't leave you, at least not until i see my daughter walk down the isle with her best friend" she smiled.
"I would like that" Oh no.
"What did you just say?" she beamed.
"Nothing" i rushed turning red.
"You want to marry that boy don't you?"
"What? No"
"Yes you do you said you would like that"
"Mum your hearing things"
"Don't lie Michaela, look me in the eye and say that you don't want to marry Niall"
"Fine, i don't....." I couldn't say it, Michaela pull yourself together.
"See you can't say it" Well i might as well tell her now.
"Fine i want to marry Niall and I love him more than a friend" i gave in.
"Aw Michaela, I knew it" she laughed.
"But mum please promise me you won't tell anyone, not even dad?"
"Ok sweetie i promise" she smiled.
"Thank you"
"So why don't you tell Niall how you feel?"
"Because he has been seeing this girl and I'm not sure what type of relationship they are in and she made my life hell" i quivered and then pulled my sleeve up and showed my scars.
"Oh Michaela"
"I'm sorry mum"
"No it's okay, just please be strong?"
"I will"
"Now listen to me, I want you to go back to London with Niall"
"What why?"
"Because you know i don't like you worrying and i want you to stay with Niall and keep doing your job"
"But.." I was cut off
"No buts i don't t want you worrying about me i will be fine and there so no need for you to stay, i want you to go back and live you life without worrying"
"Mum..." I was cut off again
"Now Michaela i don't need you worrying , I'm sending your dad and brother home because I'm on my own"
"Your so stubborn"
"I know but i love you still and call me when you get back to the Uk"
"Ugh fine"
"Now give your mother a hug before you leave"
"I love you" i said and pulled her in for a hug and kiss.
"Goodbye mum"
"Bye sweetie, love you"
"Love you too"
And with that i closed the door.
"Hey how sis she?" Niall asked.
"Good but she wants me to go back to the UK and leave her here"
"That is exactly what my mum said" he laughed.
"So how about if we book a flight back for tomorrow and try to be more positive and just think that in about a month, everything will be back to normal" he smiled.
"Ok, sounds good"
"Right, let's go, I'm hungry"
"Your always hungry"
"I know" he smiled and wrapped and arm around my waist.
"Hey dad, i will speak to you later"
"Ok but sweetie, bye Niall" my dad smiled as we walked away.
"So what do you want to do?" i asked.
"How about we go to your and go look at some old memories?" Niall suggested.
"Sounds good"
"Let's go" he smiled and kissed my forehead.
