Lala Land *BEING REDONE*
Queen B
"You didn't get to see the pier last time," his raspy voice gave me butterflies. He put his hand on my back and guided me further into the park. Soon, the trees began to disappear and the grass below us was replaced with sand. Before I knew it, Harry and I stood before a pier that sit peacefully above the ocean.
"It's so peaceful," I said as I walked down the pier. "I love it."
A chuckle escaped from his lips, warning me about what's to come. I felt one of his arms wrap around my legs as his other arm wrapped around my waist, picking me up bridal style.
"Put me down!" I laughed, throwing my head back.
"Make me!" his emerald green eyes stared into my caramel colored orbs. I kissed him on the cheek hoping that would be enough, it surprisingly worked. He set me down at the edge of the pier and sat beside me.
We stared at the sunset that began resting onto the ocean water.
"How did I get so lucky?" I felt Harry gazing at me.
"If anything, I'm the lucky one," I smiled at him. I decided now was a perfect time for a real kiss. I leaned in and closed my eyes, my hands grabbed the back of his neck.
"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" my alarm clock woke me up. I groaned in frustration and hit the alarm to shut it up. I then took my pillow and covered my face, trying to go back to that dream. After trying three times, I finally gave up and got out of bed.
I went to my closet and picked out a black crop top and some army patterned skinny jeans. I put on my ankle-high black converse over my white socks.
My hair is naturally straight, so I only brushed it and parted most of it to the side. After being happy with my appearance, I began rummaging my closet for the jar of money I had hidden in there. When I found the jar, I opened it and pulled out $10 to add to the $20 my mother was going to give me. Now my name will be in the bowl six times.
I walked downstairs to get some Eggo waffles out of the freezer for breakfast. I put the waffles into the toaster and turned my attention to the counter. There was a note sitting by a $20 bill. The note read:
"I went to take your sister out to breakfast and drop her at school. Here's your money. I hope you have another good day at school. Love, Mom"
I smiled and put the $20 back in my pocket. My sister started first grade this year and my mother is quite excited about it. She practically spoils the girl because she's so happy. Gail doesn't even understand why my mom is so proud of her, but she takes every once of reward she can get. I love that kid, but there's no need for all the praise I never got. Yeah, I'm jealous of a six-year-old.
"Hey Sweetie, all set for school?" my dad sat down at the counter.
"Yup," I said popping the 'p' and pulled my waffles out of the toaster.
"And you're gonna wear that?" my dad asked, eyeing my crop top.
I groaned before saying, "Yes Dad, this is what I'm wearing."
"I think you should put a tank top underneath that rag."
"It's not a rag, it's a shirt. It's the style nowadays," I rolled my eyes.
"In case you didn't know, it was in style in the 70's first. People then wore tank tops underneath their crop tops."
Seriously? Why do dad's have to be so difficult? "Fine, I'll put a stupid tank top on." I groaned as I dragged myself upstairs to get a tank top. After I finished getting ready and ate my waffles, it was time to head out.
"Bye Dad!" I shouted as I grabbed my car keys and walked out the door. I walked over to my silver bug and plopped into the driver's seat. I then removed my tank top with an evil grin. What? He'll never know. Now, off to school I go.
When I got to school, there was a line in front of the entrance. Carly, Ryann, and Graham were already waiting for me in line.
"Look who decided to show up today," Ryann smirked.
"Yeah sorry, my dad doesn't understand life," I groaned causing them all to laugh. "So what's this line for?"
"The donations," Carly answered. I began scanning the line, noticing there had to be 200 students in line.
"Damn it."
"That's not even the worst part," Graham says pointing towards the front of the line. I looked where he was pointing to find Holly donating money in the front of the line. You've got to be kidding me.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE!" The employee behind the table shouted, ringing a bell. "HOLLY STEPHENSON JUST DONATED A TOTAL OF $100! WOOOO!" What the hell? Now her name is going in the bowl 20 times! I really hate this girl.
"Boo!" I heard Ryann shout, giving Holly a thumbs down. I quickly covered her mouth to avoid rude stares. The fact that she booed Holly when the crowd was dead quiet, didn't help. Holly began walking over to us. Great.
"You guys are just jealous that I'm going to meet them and you aren't," Holly smirked.
I felt Ryann tense up under my hand. She quickly pulled my hand off her face and made a fist at Holly. "Wipe that smirk off your face or I'll wipe it off for you." I gazed at Graham who took the hint and grabbed Ryann's wrists. "Let me go you graham cracker!" Carly giggled at Ryann's nickname for Graham.
"You don't even like One Direction," I said to Holly. "Why would you want to hang out with them?"
"Well isn't it obvious?" her smirk grew bigger. "I'm just trying to get under your skin." The Queen B has risen and by 'B', I mean Bitch.
