Hope's POV

"Happy birthday!", everyone yelled as they jumped up from their hiding spaces, my closet friends and family were there and everyone just looked so happy I was so thankful to be here with them. Christian, my best friend pushed me towards the crowd I guess I was still standing there in shock of how many people love me. I tried to say hi to as many relatives and friends as I could, but they were not making I easy all coming at me all at once with open arms. Christian grabbed my out of the chaos and led me over to a table with a huge purple and blue cake on it, my two favorite colors in the whole world. They really knew me. as my family and friends song happy birthday I blew out my candles and heard applauses all around the room. "What did you wish for honey?" my mom said as she wrapped her hands around my shoulders and squeezed them," to keep my family and friends that I've come to know.... and love." I said as I wrapped my arms around her giving her a more appropriate hug. after 2 hours of everyone ate there cake and presented presents and socialized, the room started to clear of people leaving to go home. all that was left in the living room was me, my mom and dad, and of course Christian. "um so i was wondering if um... Hope could come back my house to spend the night." Christian said to my mom," well I don't see why not, go have fun sweetie." I was shocked at this because my mom and dad don't see Christian as the best role model, they have their reasons. "Aww thank daddy thanks mom I'll be back on Sunday."
I said already running upstairs to grab my stuff. "That wont be necessary" Christian said as she closed the door behind her, I gave her a puzzled look."i have a bag already packed." when did you.." "don't argue just love me." "ok?..." We both ran back downstairs and say goodbye to my parents and skipped to the car. "Ok will you tell me where we're going now?" i asked growing impatient, "yes... but first put this on" she hurled a bag at me and I unzipped it to find a dress and shoes, I gave her a weird look and she noticed my confusion and said, "get in a and I'll explain." I got in the car anxious for an answer. Christian explained to me that because I am officially 21 year old I should act like one, so she taking me to a club she use to sneak into with her fake old friends. I tried to beg her to just go to a movie or something but she insisted I have fun while I can, but when she said that it always led to trouble. I hope tonight is not one of those time. We pulled up to some retro looking club that was a little out of my taste but seemed to be getting Christian all excited. it was very difficult getting on this short body hugging dress in the car with very little room to do it but I think I managed when I stepped out the car and surveyed myself in the reflection of the window. We walked inside arm linked together, when we got inside the place was filled with people dancing, drinking, and kissing in corners. The place reeked of alcohol. "I get us a drink" "no don't leave Chris!" "relax ill be back in five." " But I..." before I could respond she had already walked away and I was left there standing uncomfortably in this tight ass dress. suddenly someone had came up behind me and squeezed my butt, I was so about to turn around and slap the bastard who had the nerve to touch me. I turned around and the guy pressed his lips to mine, I was disgusted his breath spelled like mints and tequila, GROSS. I pushed him off and he stood there chuckling to himself, I was not amused. "what's the matter, not happy to see me." I looked at the drunken boy and my breathing got heavy as I realized who it was,

"Joshua!"
