101 Ways to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

Like my Grandmother always used to say...

Kit’s P.O.V.

I swung my legs out of bed and they landed on the cool wooden floor. I turned off my alarm clock, stopping the annoying static that was blasting through the speakers. I’m such a heavy sleeper that normal music or beeping won’t wake me up. I have to turn it on 40 volume power(The highest it will go) and turn it to a station that isn’t available so it just comes off as static. I stretched, my long arms going high above my head as I utter a yawn.
I found out last night from my dad that my best friends were going to be attending WinStar Academy with me! It was an accident of course, he was cooking dinner and talking to my mom on the phone. I was getting a snack from the fridge and I overheard his end and it took all my willpower not to scream. Once he clicked off the line I let out a squeal. He probably jumped about ten feet in the air. I started jumping up and down I was so excited. He gave me a guilty look before sternly saying “Don’t tell your mother you know! Alright?” I just nodded before skipping back upstairs where I lied face down screaming into the comforter.
After stretching my legs I got up off my bed and grabbed my fluffy pastel yellow bathrobe before opening the door into my bathroom. Turning the hot water on, I stripped down from my pajama shorts and sports bra and grabbed two towels from the closet, hanging them on the hooks to the right of the shower door, before I jumped into the shower cringing a tad bit as the water scorched my skin. I washed and conditioned my hair in about ten minutes. Turning the water off I stepped out wrapping my hair up in a towel and wrapping the bigger one around my body. I walked out into my room and screamed. My brother burst out laughing. “You sound like a girl!” He said doubling over in hysterics. “Well that’s because I am one. What’s your excuse.” I asked him smirking as his laughter stopped and he glared at me. “What do you want Zac? I have to get ready for school and you’re kind of postponing me getting dressed.” He crossed his arms over his chest. “I want a ride to school.” I shook my head. “Can’t little brother. Sorry!” I shrugged ruffling his hair. Although I immediately felt guilty when I saw his face fall. “Okay. Fine.” I sighed. “But it’ll be your fault if I’m late. Now get out so I can change! Shoo!” I said grabbing his arm and guiding him to the door. He whirled around and grabbed my waist hugging me. “Thanks Kit. I love you!” I smiled and my heart swelled. “I love you too Zac. Now git!” I laughed as he detached himself and ran down the hallway screaming. “Mom! Dad! Kit’s taking me to school.” I shook my head and walked over to my walk in closet and started to search around for my uniform.
Once I located it, I stared in disgust. It was SO not fashionable or attractive in the slightest. It consisted of a khaki pleated skirt, with a white long-sleeve under a navy Blue Blazer with WS Academy stitched on the front left shoulder. White knee-high socks and black chunky heeled shoes with a dark blue tulle ascot completed my uniform. I sighed in frustration. I was going to make this uniform attractive if it killed me.
Twenty minutes later I was finished. My hair was dried and straightened and was accessorized with a black sparkly headband. I had my matching sapphire earrings and ring set, my chunky gold charm bracelet was on my right wrist and I had my gold choker on with the letters spelling out Boller. I lined my eyes in a thin layer of black eyeliner and I added a shimmery smokey eye effect using white, silver and black shadow. For the finishing touch I added a plum colored lip stain, and if I didn’t say so myself I was looking pretty damn good. Lucy was informed that I wouldn’t be driving with them, Zac was sitting in the passenger seat and I was driving down the road to Orland Valley Middle School. I pulled up in front and Zac gave me an awkward side hug before he got out of my shiny red ferrari and walked up the steps to his first day of 8th grade. I checked my watch, my eyes widening as I saw the time. I was gonna be late. and as everyone knows. Real Boller women are always early never late.
Like my grandmother always used to say...
A Boller lady is perfectly poised, well rounded, fashionable, and always on time.

Notes

Hey Guys. I'm super sorry I haven't been updating. I've had a MAJOR case of writers block and I've been super busy with the play, college planning, and my Alg 2 and Chemistry lessons which I'm taking online. As well as Spanish. I'm also in Key Club and Diversity Group, so everything is extremely hectic and overwhelming for me at the moment.
