101 Ways to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.

New School, New Enemies

Lucy's P.O.V.
“Lucy!” My mom screamed from downstairs. I covered my ears with a pillow and curled even deeper into a tiny little ball wedged underneath my warm comforter. I heard the steps creak and the door opened a crack letting a bit of light in. Not even two seconds later the door swung wide open and crashed to the wall, making me bolt upright. My mom whisked open the big picture windows curtains and I squeaked shielding my eyes from the bright light streaming into my bedroom. “Oh, Boo Hoo. Honey you’re not going to melt. I doubt you’re the wicked witch of the west.” My mom crossed her arms over her chest and scowled. I laughed. “Mom. The Wicked Witch of the West melted from water. Not sunlight.” My mother threw up her hands in defeat. “You would know wouldn’t you dear?” I grinned and shook my head. “But seriously now Lucy. You’re going to be late for your first day at WinStar Academy.” Now it was my turn to scowl. “Why do I have to finish school there! I don’t know anyone. Besides mom, they’re probably all snooty, rude, rich whores.” I said angrily. My mother gasped. “Lucy Lydia Trinn. How dare you!” I huffed. “You know it’s true.” I challenged. She opened her mouth but closed it almost instantly, knowing that I was right. I smirked evilly. “Fine. You’re right. But there’s nothing your father or I can do now my dear. You’re just going to have to deal with being stuck there for a whole year. It can’t be that bad! You’ve got your morals straight and a very level head. Keep your bubbly and kindhearted attitude the same and you’ll be good to go.” I almost smiled at my moms compliment but then I realized I wouldn’t be able to be with any of my friends so I kept the scowl plastered on my face.
My mom saw. “Lucy. You’re father and I were going to wait to tell you until breakfast but considering you’re going to be a grumpy pants, I’ll just tell you now.” She paused waiting for me to say something. I kept scowling so she continued. “All your friends are going with you. Their parents and your father and I all collaborated and decided that a new school would be good for you ladies. So now, Missy, Nina, Kit, Seraphina and you will all be going to WinStar Academy. So turn that frown upside down because I want to see my lovely daughter smile!” My mom said. I started grinning like an idiot. She was getting up but I tackled her to the bed. “Thank you. Thank You. THANK YOU!” I screamed hugging her. She laughed pushing me off. She straightened her pink suit jacket and fixed her updo before giving me a kiss on the cheek and turning to walk out of my room. “Now Lucy get dressed alright? The uniform is in the walk-in! You must leave to pick your friends up in 20 minutes!” I heard her high heels click down the halls before they were muted but the carpeted staircase. I sat there reveling in the wonderful woman that is my mother. ‘20 minutes.’ raced through my mind. ‘20 mi-20 minutes! Shit!’ I raced to my walk-in closet and saw my uniform hanging on a blue hanger. It was really…Unique? Yeah…That’s the word. Unique. It was a khaki pleated skirt, with a white long-sleeve under a navy Blue Blazer with WS Academy stitched on the front left shoulder. White knee-high socks and black chunky heeled shoes with a dark blue tulle ascot completed my uniform. I sat there gawking for a few seconds before I realized I’d have to hurry up and put this disgusting thing on if I wanted to be on time for my first day. A Trinn is never late.
I groaned inwardly as I slipped on the skirt. It was a tad bit big so I decided to use a chunky brown belt with a large buckle. The solid gold buckle had the Trinn family crest etched into it and it was one of my most prized possessions. Five minutes later my uniform was on and I rushed to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and put my contacts in. A Trinn woman never wears glasses either. I debated on what to do with my hair. Braid? Updo? Braided Updo? Finally I decided on a classic updo. I finished bobby pining the back before I curled a strand of hair to the left of my face. It popped out of the iron in the form of a tight pin curl. I sprayed it with extra hold hairspray then engulfed my whole head in a cloud of hairspray. I put in some 14carot gold star shaped earrings, a gold choker with the letters Trinn around my neck and my four infinity rings. One of each of my friends. I lined my eyes with bold black liner, gold cream shadow and dark red lips. I took one last look in my floor length mirror admiring how I made myself look good despite the god awful uniform and headed down the stairs. My mom handed me my satchel and my car keys, I grabbed and apple and water off the countertop and headed to the garage. My yellow mustang convertible roared to life as I sped off down the block to Missy’s mansion. This was going to be a new experience. Like my older sister Liza always said...
New School New Enemies.

Notes

Hey guys. I'm working on Part Two of Chapter Seven for Almost Cinderella. But then I had an idea. I found this chapter from a story I wrote about two years ago. I made this into a One Direction FanFic though. So Here y'all go! But please. Be gentle. This was two years ago. I think its not as good as it could be. But I put it on here anyways. As for all the characters, Yes I know there are A LOT of them but they're all in the story. Some might not be as important as others but they're still all in the story. Hope you like it! I tried my best!
