(Selene)

"Now dad, you know that isn't good for you." I said shaking my head and taking the very unhealthy breakfast away from him and replacing it with fruit.

"Selene. I eat meat, I'm a carnivore." He huffed.

"Well today you're an omnivore. Did you pick your tie yet?" I asked.

I looked him up and down before chuckling and running upstairs to get his red tie.

"Dad, you have an important meeting today, you should have got your things out before." I laughed, fixing his tie.

"I know Selene, I know." He chuckled back. "Well I'm off to school dad!" I said running out the house and to my car.

I drove to Holly's house and picked her up.

"Wow Selene, you look great!" She said getting in the car.

"Aw... Thanks, so do you." I said reaching over to hug her.

We arrived at the school on time.

We hopped out the car and were immediately swarmed by a bunch of girls and guys.

The popular kids.

I sighed.

I guess you could say me and Holly were popular.

I was because of my dad's status and us being rich.

Holly because we've been best friends since I moved here.

We all split up and went to our classes.

Me and Holly to history and the rest of them to... wherever.

I sighed and walked to the back of the room with Holly.

I turned my chair backwards before sitting on it.

The door creaked open and I turned my attention to it, and a tall boy in a black hood with his hands in his pockets made his way to the back of the room.

I couldn't see much of him, all I saw was his brown curly hair.

He sat down next to me.

He took a note book out off his bag and wrote something down on it.

He tore out the paper and passed it to me.

'Hey'

'Hi'

'What's your name?'

'Selene... yours?'

He smirked down at the paper and scribbled something quickly on it.

'That's not important'

I frowned at the paper before responding again.

'Why not? I told you mine'

I saw his full pink lips curve into a frown.

'Because I said it isn't'

The bell rang and he put his book back in his bag, leaving me with Holly, a paper, and a million questions.
