Keep Me Safe

Emma’s POV
My eyes finally opened! It was dark in the room. Have I been asleep that long? My eyes darted around the room looking for Niall. I found him in the corner of the room sleeping in a chair, with a curly haired boy sleeping on the chair next to him. I smiled even though it hurt when I did. He is still here, he didn’t leave me. The feeling that gave me was so much stronger than the pain I felt. “Niall” I whispered which sent a shock of pain to my ribs. He didn’t hear me. “Niall” I said louder this time, pain increasing. His eyes flung open, “Emma?” he jumped up and rushed to my side. “I’m so glad you’re ok!” I just smiled weakly at him. “Are you in pain? I can get a doctor to give you medicine. I’ll get a doctor.” Niall said turning to get a doctor, speaking really fast. I reached my hand out and touched him arm. “Niall I’m ok, you don’t need to worry, just go get a doctor and hurry back. I don’t want to be alone.” He turned around and looked into my eyes he nodded quickly,I won’t be long” he said turning to leave. He shook the brown haired boy, “Harry she’s awake, I’m getting a doctor stay with her.” He nodded stood up and walked toward me. Niall left the room. “Hello love, I’m Harry, and you must be the famous Emma.” I looked at him and smiled slightly before nodding my head, “Famous?” I asked. Harry chuckled then said, “Oh yeah, Niall hasn’t stopped talking about you since I got here.” “Really? Well it was nice of you to stay here with him, you guys didn’t need to stay at all.” Every word of that sentence sent shocked waves of pain through my body. Niall hurry up! “Yeah well Niall is one of my best mates, I couldn’t leave him. He couldn’t leave you.” I was about to say something when Niall and doctor came in. Harry stepped aside so Niall could be next to me. The doctor gave me pain killer and I started to feel better. Wish I could always be this happy and pain free with Niall by my side. But I’m stuck with Mike so that could never happen. I’ll just enjoy this feeling while it lasts.
