"She'll be fine"
Niall’s POV.
Emma was all I could think about after she ran from Nandos. She was so beautiful, so perfect. When she touched my hand I felt something I’ve never felt before. It was magical. I just want to get to know her. I tried to forget about it because of her boyfriend, but I couldn’t. What did she mean abusive? How could anyone hurt her? I looked down at my hand. My heart skipped a beat. I still have her number! I pulled out my phone and typed in her number. I have to know if she’s ok. I waited while the phone rang. Pick up! Please be ok. “Hello.” I heard a man’s voice on the other end. He sounded liked he was stopping himself from yelling. I heard muffled sobbing through the phone. Was that Emma? “Hello?” I asked I’m starting to get worried. “Who the hell is this and why are you calling my girlfriend?” The man said sound angrier this time. This must be Emma’s boyfriend. What was he doing to her? I can’t get her in trouble so I said, “I’m sorry I must have the wrong number.” I hung up. I don’t know what to do. I do my best thinking when I run, so I went to the park. I have been running a lot sense we finished our 1D world tour. Most places we go fans are everywhere, but not here. I was running when I saw a girl stumbling into the park. She was hunched over holding her ribs. Her eyes are blood shot, her hair was a mess, and she had a hand print on her face. “Emma.” I said under my breath. Then, I sprinted to her. “Niall?” her voice was shaky and weak. She fell to the ground. “Oh my God Emma!” She was crying uncontrollably. Up close I could see the bruises on her face and arms. I wanted to hug her but I didn’t want to hurt her. I ran my fingers lightly over her forehead where she had no bruises. “You’ll be ok, I promise.” I helped her up as carefully as possible. She was so weak I ended up having to carry her to my car, praying I wouldn’t hurt her. I drove her to the hospital. “Someone help! Help her!” Doctors came running. “What happened?” One asked. “I don’t know, I don’t know just help her!” I said in a clear panic. As the doctors were taking her away, I heard her saying over and over louder each time, “Niall Niall NIALL!” She scrunched her face in pain. “Shhh don’t hurt yourself. I’ll be right here waiting for you. You’ll be ok.” I said trying to calm her down. I put my hand on hers until she was out of my reach. I sat down. I need someone here with me. Harry. I pulled out my phone and called him. “Hello” He said. “Harry come to the Hospital now!” I said in a panicked voice. “Niall what happened, are you ok?” He asked worried. “I’m fine, but Emma isn’t!” I said “What who’s Emma?” He asked confused. “I’ll explain later. Just get here!” I was practically begging at this point. “Alright, I’m on my way.” Harry said and hung up. I sat back in the chair and took a deep breath. I thought to myself, ok Harry is on his way. You’ll be fine. She’ll be fine.
