Keep Me Safe

Emma’s POV
In bed, all I could think about was what Niall told me. “Do what you need to do.” What I need to do is break up with Mike and go home. I have to keep Niall safe. I have to keep me safe. As soon as I sure Niall was asleep, I slowly got out of bed, and made my way down stairs. I got out a piece of paper and wrote, “Niall, I’m so sorry for leaving like this but, I knew you would never let me go. I want nothing more than to be with you and have everything perfect but, life doesn’t work that way. I only want what is best for you and myself. I did what you told me, and did what I needed to do. I broke up with Mike, he is really pissed. I knew I wasn’t safe in London, so I left. I took a flight back home. Don’t worry about me I’ll be fine. Maybe when everything cools down, this can work, we can work.

When I was finished writing, I wiped the tears from my face, and walked out the door. I got in my rental car and drove it back to where I got it from. From there, I took a cab to the airport, and got on the next plane home. This is harder than I ever imagined. I know he will try to come after me but he won’t be able to find me. Maybe I should tell him where to find me, no if it’s meant to be he will find me. Besides, I have to have some time away from boys. I need to talk to Victoria ASAP. I put in my headphones and leaned back in my seat. This is going to be a long flight I thought.
