A Choice

I woke up to hear music and smelled food. I rose with the sun shining in my eyes. I looked out the window and saw an orchestra playing a most grand piece. I closed my eyes and took a deep and gentle breath and put a smile on my face. When I got up from the bed I noticed Harry was not there. I walked into the dining room and saw him eating freshly baked bread with cheese.
"Good morning" He greeted me with a warm smile.

"good morning" I greeted back smiling, happy to see him. He rose from his seat and pulled a chair out for me.

"Thank You" I said sitting down.

"So what are we to do today?" I asked after saying grace and eating a piece of bread

"Well I plan to take you out to the pond and have a picnic around noon" He said with a casual voice.

"It sounds grand" I said and continued eating.
Noon had come around and I was wearing a cherry blossom pink gown with a bow in the waist area and a set of gloves. I also wore cream colored gloves that matched my shoes. I walked out to the pond located near the edge of the garden. It was surrounded by cheery blossoms that were the same colors of my dress. Harry sat in a boat in the pond with 2 oar paddles.

"Good evening" he greeted me as I climbed aboard the boat.
"good evening" I greeted as I sat down. He then began to row the boat out in between the trees and then pulled to a stop as we began to chat.
"So tell me Angela how many children do you want?" his question was no surprise for I knew it would come up eventually.
"I do not want children." He looked at me like I was insane.
"But you are a woman, surely you must have and want children" He said simply. I scoffed and rolled my eyes at this.
"Of course you think that all men do. Do you ever think that a woman can work? That she can do things on her own, and that she doesn't need someone to take care of her?" I asked in a rude tone.
"I think that women can work but they don't need to like you for example."
"Me?"
"Yes. You won't work while your here in the palace. You'll have everything handed to you while I handle business you may be drinking tea with friends." I couldn't listen any longer.
"What do you mean I won't work? I will work some kind of way" I told him getting angry
"No you won't you are a woman in a palace working t stop me!"
"Then what will? You should be thankfull! I can give all that you ask for and more, you won't have to worry about a thing!"
"Nothing can or will stop me!" I Then lifted my gown up and climbed outside the boat into the water thaat was only a foot or 2 deep.
"Angela!" I hear him calling after me but I went on.
"Angela!" I made it to the garden and walked toward the palace. I turned around to see what Harry was doing and he was right behind me. I ran inside hoping he would not catch me. I could hear his foot steps chasing after me. I made it to my previous room and locked the door. I then changed into the clothing I came in and left the room only to Harry standing there. I walked around him withought saying a word. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me in front of him.
"Where are you going?" He asked with a sadness in his voice while looking into my eyes.
"Home" I answered simply while looking away from him.
"This is your home now."
" I do not wish to stay."
"Angela please look at me" He said and then used a finger under my chin to lift my face up to look into his eyes.
"Angela I do not mean what I said but you surprised me so much for ive never meet a woman like you for it is one of the reasons I love you. it's how you know what you want no matter what others say or think. Please forgive me." He pleaded with a pout I could not resist.
"I forgive you on one condition."
"What?"
"That no matter how long I am here you promise I will work some kind of way"
"You have my word" I smiled and then gave him a warm kiss.
