SYDNEY'S P.O.V
All day I have been in my room doing nothing.I can't go to out because my parents feel that I will get robbed or something like that.I just think that they are over reacting.I get bored just being at home.The girls say that I have it good because there parents are hardly at home or just don't have the time for them.Sometimes I wish I could just break away from all of it.Then I got a text from Nicki saying.
NICKI: "HEY ARE YOU GOING TO WINTER FORMAL ?? SO WE CAN GO SHOPPING NOW !!"
ME: "UM NICKI I DON'T HAVE A DATE AND I AM NOT EVEN SURE IF MY PARENTS WILL LET ME"
NICKI: "CAN YOU ASK FOR ME AND I WILL FIND YOU A DATE"
ME: "SURE BUT IF I DIE ASKING THEM IT IS ALL ON YOU !"
I went down stairs to ask my parents if I could go .
"Mum and Dad can I go to the winter formal ?" I asked
"Sweetheart you know how we feel about you going out" dad said
"I know but it is just this one time please." I said they took some time to think and then said
"Okay sweetheart you can go to the dance." Mum said I smiled and hugged them both then texted Nicki that I am going and she said that she is coming in five minuets .
"Oh and Nicki picking me up so we can buy our dresses." I said they both nodded
When Nicki came I said bye to my parents and got in her car . We talked about what we are going to buy and stuff .
When we got to the mall we got shopping we bought a lot of this that had nothing to do with the dance.

Eventually we found the perfect dress for the dance . We payed for everything and left the mall . In the car we were
talking .
"So you don't have a date right ?" Nicki said
"Yeah" I said
"Okay I have someone I mind." she said
"Who?" I asked
"Bryan Mason." she said
"You mean the jock." I said
"Yeah I heard he likes you" she said
"I doubt that he's the popular jock and I am just nerdy good girl" I said
"Well Sydney there is more to you that just being a nerdy good girl you are beautiful inside and out and super funny
you should be proud that he has a crush on you because you are one of the best girls out there ." she said
"Okay I guess you can set me up with him" I said and she smiled but by this time we are pulling up to my
house. I said bye to Nicki and walk inside my house . When I got home it was about 8:00 pm and I was very tired so I decided to go to bed .
