Chapter 3
I walked down to a little Starbucks and met Ariella there. She looked stunning in:www.polyvore.com/untitled_54/set?id=68160222
"Hey girl! I cannot believe that they invited you to hang with them!" she was bouncing up and down, so excited as usual.
"I can't either. Oh shit! They wanted coffee, but I don't know what kind!" I went to text them, but remembered that I didn't have their numbers, "I'll guess," I shrugged and ordered a whole bunch of different kinds. Ariella and I started to walk to the venue, meaningless chatter filling up the air. We walked into a room of utterr chaos, the boys were tackling and laughing eachother, Paul was asleep, and the crew was working to get ready.
"COFFEE!!!" Niall screamed and came running.
"Are you sure you need it?" I asked.
"Positive I don't, still going to drink it!" Niall laughed and grabbed a frappucino. I set the coffee down on a table and watched the crazy unfold around me.
Liam came up to me while I was sitting on the couch and sat down. Ariella and Niall were hitting it off, and for that I was happy. Liam looked like a lost puppy, his normally cheery and bright eyes almost brimmed over with tears. I couldn't resist it, I put my hand on his thigh and looked at him reassuringly. Liam looked at me for a moment, then layed his head down on my shoulder. I soothed him, pet the top of his head and such. We sat like that for only God knows how long, and I didn't feel out of place at all.
"Madalyn," Liam whispered, his tears making my shirt damp, "Do you want to come on tour with us?" I merely nodded my head, registering that he was asking me to be his rebound girl. Well, that was how I perceived it, I was the rebound girl after Danielle. I didn't mind, really, but some part of me deep down didn't like the thought of being the girl Liam can bounce back off of.
The boys wrestled for the time that me and Liam talked. Ariella was almost snogging Niall, and the other three boys were wrestling. Liam and I talked about anything he could think of, my life, his life, but we avoided past relationships.
"Alrighty boys, time for you to go on," an announcer said at 6 in the evening. Liam sat up from his comfortable position on my lap and looked me in the eyes. He bit his lip for a second, then leaned in. He looked at my eyes as to gauge my reaction, then pressed his lips to mine softly. He sucked on my bottom lip before pulling away.
"Why don't you wait back here with Ariella?" Liam smiled. I nodded, unable to talk. He tasted amazing, his breath, his Orbit gum, the slight tea taste that was from hours ago. He smiled before getting up and walking onto the stage. Thousands of screaming girl sounds erupted as they started to sing. Ariella bounced up to me.
"Oh. My. God! Niall and I hit it off so quick. AH! I cannot even like breathe! OhMyGod-OhMyGod-OhMyGod!" I tried to calm her, "Niall asked me to tour with them! Did Liam ask you?" Ariella was freaking out.
"Yes, and I said yes. I just turned 18, so there is nothing my momma can do, although I know it will break her heart," I shrugged.
"To hell with broken hearts! Road Trip Bitches!" Ariella screamed. Niall looked backstage and tried so hard not to laugh. He'd heard her say that, and they shared a beautiful moment. But when I looked on stage, Liam wasn't even paying attention to me. I felt hurt, I really was a rebound girl.
