These Green Eyes
Chapter 3
I haven't slept so well for a long time. Actually I had a dream. There I saw me, much older than I'm now, with two kids, running around me. We were very happy. The thing I didn't remember from the dream is who was the father of these children. I try to get back again in the dream, curious who the man was. No success! Why I remember everything but not the most interesting things in my dreams?
I stand up from my bed and go to the bathroom for a quick shower. I hear my mum calling me for breakfast and I get dressed. I head downstairs and my mum and dad has already sat on the table. Dad is reading the daily newspaper and my mum is making something tasty, as I can smell.
"Good morning." I say and pour some milk in my mug. I'm not one of those people who drink coffee, in fact I hate it. I have only tasted it once and I didn't like it at all.
"Good morning, darling." My mum says as she peks me on the cheek. "I'm making pancakes, do you want?" Mmm, I love them.
"And you're asking?!"
"That's what I thought." She smiles and puts one in my plate.
I bite one piece off. "Mum, they're delicious!" I says with full mouth.
"Thank you."
After I finished my breakfast, I take my new jacket, wear my shoes. I grab my favourite scarf and bag from the hanger.
I enter the univerity's main building and go straight to the cabinet of the Journalism Professor, Mr. Cooper. He's in his mid 50s, very tall and normally weighted man, grey hair and grey - blue eyes.
"Good morning, Mr. Cooper." I greet.
"Oh." He says, raising his head from the papers, he's looking at. "Hey Ms. Carrigan, ready with the articles I suppose."
"Yes, they all are ready."
"Good job, Megan." He look at the papers, as I hand them to him. "Usually, you aren't the first of the group, who gives me the done work."
"Well, yeah. I finished faster than usual."
"You should do this more often then." He says and I turn to go out of the room. "Bye Megan, it was nice to see you.''
"Goodbye, Mrs. Cooper." I say and close the door behind me.
Wohooo, finally some free time for me. Since it's Friday and I don't have any plans for tomorrow I may attend a party. I don't go to parties frequently, not because I don't want of course, just because I don't have time to do it.
I meet Diana, one of my friends, in the middle of the hallway. She's much smaller and slimmer than me, her hair is very dark and she aslo has brown eyes.
"Hi, Megan, I haven't seen you for ages!" She laughs and then put me in a very thight hug.
"You know, homework, homework and again...homework." I sigh. "Any parties tonight?"
"Yes! At Ashton's, 8 p.m." She grinns.
"Yeah, yeah, I know you like him." She always talks about him.
"Hell yes! I hope tonight will happen something." She smirks.
"Soooooo, good luck. I have to go back, see you tonight." I hug her as a goodbye.
I turn to head back to the front door, when I see a familiar face.
Harry.
"Hey" I wave at him and open the door.
"Hi, Megan." He waves back and turn back again."Are you going to Ashton's party?"
I turn to face him. "Yeah." I simply say.
"Good. I'll be there too." He smiles and turn to continue to where he's going.
Harry will be at the party! I should dress well.
I has checked my closet about 100 times but I havn't found anything good enough for this party. Wait a minute! Where is my black dress with sequins? It's perfect, I should find it.
I search all over the drawers and in my wardrobe, bt I can't find it. Where have I put it? Ahaaa, it must be in my mothers, because she borrowed it from me time ago.
I go in her room and I find it in the front of her closet. I look it...like I thought- PERFECT!
I wear it, with the black heels. I put some bracelets and a pair of earrings. Only the make up and my hair left. I curled my hair into waves and put light make up. Now I'm ready!
I find my clutch and head for the party. I hope it'd be interesting and Harry would look at me in a different way.
