Half A Heart
Chapter 3
~ Capri's POV~
Louis left the moment he woke this morning to visit Ashton, Michael, Calum, and Luke at the recording studio. It was approaching 10 o'clock, and Harry would be here soon with Darcy. Oh, how I didn't want to be alone with him. But I got to suck it up, and grow a pair of fucking balls!
I set my bowl of empty cereal in the sink an heard a loud thump on my front door. Oh god.
I dragged my feet over to the door, dreading what's waiting on the other side. I fling open the door and put a smile on my face as Darcy stood next to Harry with her little pink back pack. I picked her up as kisses her cheek.
"Hi Bubba" I smiled out. She giggled and flung her arms around my neck, holding on tight. My gaze moved to Harry's and my smile dropped to a frown. They way his eyes looked to me made shivers crawl over my body and pool somewhere in the pit of my stomach. He smirked at my reaction. Once again, I would like to slap that fucking smirk off his face.
"Where's Louis?" He asked. I debated on actually answering him. Yeah, I probably.
"With 5 seconds of summer. Why?" I left the door open with Harry standing at the frame. I set Darcy down on the couch and wandered into the kitchen knowing he was following.
"Why did you say yes?!" He said. I snapped me head to him and narrowed my eyes.
"Why did I say yes to you?" I shot back. Harry's eyebrows knitted together and hurt took place in his expression.
"Because we loved each other! You said yes to him because you don't want to love me!" I rolled my eyes at his response and looked at the granite island I was leaning on.
"Right? You want to prove to me, that you don't love me!" My eyes widened and I looked up at him anger written all over my features.
"Harry! Listen to yourself! I'm marrying Louis! Whether you like it or not!" My voice rose and I peered over to the couch to make sure Darcy was still playing with her dolls.
"No! You can't marry him!" He tugged at his curls and tears appeared in his eyes.
"Why not?!" Tears fell down my cheeks as he kept his at bay.
"Because you love me! And I love you! It's not fucking rocket science!" I walked up to him and looked into his teary eyes.
"You don't understand Harry! You divorced me!" My voice cracked. He took this opportunity to kiss me. The way his lips touched mine couldn't even co pare to Louis'. After the divorce, Harry always held a spot in my heart, but I hadn't realized it was my entire heart. He cupped my face in his hands and I crossed my arms around his neck. It was a simple, sweet kiss. No tongue, or heat involved, just compassion. I missed that in him.
I pulled away and threw my forehead on his chest, letting out occasional sobs.
"I'm sorry, Harry. But I can't, Louis deserves Better than this." I breathed out.
"I know. I get it but, don't get angry if I try anything on you. I just can't help myself."
