*Maddy's POV*
We set up a Skype chat with Jess and Niall and the way he looked when she came into view was the cutest thing I have ever seen. He just light up when he saw her. He really does like her. As I went out of the room, my phone started going off. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw Louis picture come up signaling that he was calling me.

"Hello?" I quickly answered.

"You look really beautiful. I just wanted to tell you that." I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. "You're blushing right now aren't you?" Even know he can't see me, he knew. He knows me so well.

"Maybe.." I said taking the ending of the word a little higher.

"Gosh I miss you."

"I miss you too. Ug, why can't you be home?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"Cause life is unfair. You know, sometimes I just really hate the snow." He said complaining.

"I do too. Lou, I don't know what to do. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and you still aren't here with me. What are we going to do about our plans? I was really looking forward to watching The Christmas Story with you. I didn't get to do that with my family like we do every year. I was really hoping you would be here." I said getting really bummed out. My family every year watches that movie and since I am here in London away from my family. Louis promised me that he would watch it with me.

"I know and I feel terrible. Wait! I know! We can Skype with each other tonight and watch it at the same time on our TV's. It will almost be like we are watching it together."

"Louis! That is a great idea! I mean I will miss the cuddling we won't be able to do, but I will just be glad that you will be watching it with me so I won't be all alone." I did get a lot happier when he suggested that. He is the best boyfriend I could ever ask for.

"I love you, and I will do anything for you."

"I love you, too. So listen, I have to go. I am going to go and wrap some Christmas presents. I'll talk to you before I go to bed?" I asked.

"You know every time I hear your voice is the highlight of my day. Maybe we can FaceTime so I can see your beautiful facial features?" I just laughed at how he worded that.

"Sounds good to me." I replied.

"Alright, I will talk to you later. I love you."

"I love you more."

"I love you most." With that we hung up. I love talking to Louis and I hate it at the same time. I hate it only because every time we hang up, I get even more sad than I already was. I pulled out the little box containing the present I am giving Louis for Christmas. It is a key to my flat. I don't believe in living with someone before marriage, it's a personal decision, so this is a huge step for me. I'm not asking him to move in with me, which might seem weird to most people, but he will now have a key so he can come and go from my place as he pleases. He knows how big this is for me. I wrapped it and hid it in the tree. I can't wait to give it to him. I know I haven't even been dating him for a year, but I love him. He makes me happy and he's my best friend. What more could I ask for?
