Christmas Wishes

Kennedy's POV:

After I got home from shopping with the girls, I went to make some food for tomorrow when Zayn got home. Right as I was getting out the ingredients, my phone rang. It was Zayn.
"Hey Zayn! I cannot wait to see you tomorrow!" I squealed into the phone.
"Erm, well, actually, I won't be able to make it home." He mumbled back.
"WHAT?!? WHY NOT?" I screamed.
"Sorry babe, I REALLY want to be there, but the flight is delayed because of the storm." He replied. I could practically see him rubbing the back of his neck while he said this.
"Oh. Well I guess I'll see you later then." I said quietly before hanging up. I threw the ingredients back in the cabinet and trudged to the bathroom, holding back tears. I opened my drawer to see all my blades were gone. I was just having a terrible day.

Zayn's POV:

"It's okay, mate! We are all stuck here, and they have each other. At least we are stuck in a place with good food!" Niall chirped, chewed up bits of cheeseburger falling out of his mouth. I just sighed and shook my head. Leave it to Niall to think about food while we won't be able to see our girlfriends for even longer than planned. WE COULD MISS CHRISTMAS, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
I feel terrible for not being home with Kennedy. This is one of her toughest times, and even her own boyfriend can't be there to help. I hope Chai threw out her blades for me...
