We are all smiles until we get to the meet-and-greet entrance. There are about 150 girls already here. "Well, this sucks." Bailey says flatly. "A little bit." I respond. We wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, it's 5 o'clock! And we are the very last girls in the line. I start to feel a little guilty. "Bailey, I'm really really sorry. I drove us here and I think I made us late." "Don't worry about it! It's not your fault. Everything's good!" she reassures me. Next thing I know, we are only five people away from One Direction! Security checks our passes and let us through the door. "This is so crazy," I whisper, smiling to Bailey. She nods vigorously. Niall is in a blue v-neck, black snapback, and khaki pants. I cant tell if my head is spinning from seeing him or from the headache. His eyes are even more beautiful in person. I step up to the signing table where Liam is on the end. Its quieted down a lot since everyone else has already left. As he signs my DVD that came with the VIP packet, I say, "How are y'all liking the south?" Liam says, "Its really neat! So different than England though. You know, the climate and all.." Then I ask him how Danielle is and we just chat for a few minutes. Small talk. But it's amazing. And there's no rush because we are the only people left. Next is Harry and he says,"Hey, babe." I answer, "Vas Happenin'?" And he starts to crack up. "What's your name?" I smile even wider and say,"Talia. What's yours?" He answers, "Styles. Harry Styles." "Nice to meet you." I laugh and scoot on over in front of Zayn so Bailey can chat with Harry for a second. I ask about his new tattoo, and he shows it to me. I say "You know, all of the girls say that's pretty sexy, so you might wanna think about showing it off while you're here." He chuckles and says,"Will do!" "This is Bailey." I gently pull Bailey in front of Zayn. They hit it off from the first "Hi." I smirk as she turns her flirt on. "HELLO!" says Louis. "HI THERE!" I say, "How are you Louis?" "Fine, love. How about you?" "I'm doing alright." My eyes drop to the floor and I move to my left. Finally. He's right here in front of me. I just have to look up. What if this isn't like my dreams? I'm just another Directioner. I can't do it.. But I have to. I quickly glance up at Niall to see if he's even looking at me. And there they are. Those gorgeous blue eyes. He's just sitting there, very still. Staring at me. Everything is in slow-motion. My heart is pounding and I open my mouth to say something, but no words come out. My shaky hand moves onto the table and sets down my note that I've protected with my life. "I've written a note for you," I say,"Do you think you can find time to read it?" His lips form a smile and he says,"If I can't find time, I'll make time." All I can do is grin stupidly. Gah, his accent makes my heart melt! His smile disappears, though, as he looks at my hand on the table. He takes it in his and slowly turns it over, revealing the scars on my wrist. I meet his eyes, and they look full of pain. I pull my hand away quickly and look down. Blushing severely, I say, "I need to go." I walk as fast as I can out of the room, not looking back.

How did I not remember to cover my scars? No one knows I used to cut. Hold back the tears, Talia. I'm too sensitive. Ugh. And so stupid. Now he thinks I'm a freak! I sit curled up on a bench outside, waiting for Bailey. I check my phone. 6:00. The actual concert starts at 7:30, so Bailey will probably want t-- my thoughts are interrupted by a hand on my shoulder. I slowly turn my head and see Niall standing next to me, a soft smile on his face. "Talia, are you alright?" he asks. "I'm fine. Just mortified, that's all." He sits next to me and drops his hands to his lap, playing with my note. "I read your letter. I just had to tell you, though. I didn't mean to seem rude back there. That's never happened to me before..You literally took my breath away. Talia, I couldn't talk." I glanced up at him and could tell he was being sincere by the redness in his cheeks and his looking at the ground. "Niall, I couldn't breathe either. Everything was in slow-motion." He gives a little chuckle and then hands me my signed CD and DVD. "I'll see you after the show," he says, grinning "10:00 at Starbuck's?" I somehow get out a "Sure!" Bailey passes Niall on her way out of the building. On my autographed merchandise, I see in Niall's handwriting, "Stay strong, love. ~ Niall xx." I look up to see Bailey staring at me, confused. "Where did you go? You missed it! Zayn asked me out." My jaw drops and I stand up. "Are you serious?" I ask. She squeals and starts jumping up and down and I do it with her, even though Niall wouldn't approve of our "fan-girling".. We had bought third-row tickets for the concert. We find our seats and get ready to start dancing! They are coming on-stage to the intro of WMYB and Niall looks confused. He's looking into the crowd and squinting. What's wrong? Our eyes meet and I see him smile. I return the favor. The concert is indescribable. Moments even brought Bailey and me to tears. Its about 9:30 when its over. As we find our way back to my car, I ask Bailey if we could go to Starbuck's. She agrees. After driving about a mile, I turn off onto the exit and take the right lane. Suddenly, I hear Bailey screech, "LOOK OUT!!" and my vision goes black.
