Delilah's Pov

"you're late" spat Liam, I hadn't seen him and almost peed my pants, he looked even more tense then usual
"didn't know there was a schedule" I responded with a smile
"why are you always so happy? It's annoying" he groaned
"Maybe because I'm not a grouch and waste away my life drinking"
"Shut up! Just cause you have the perfect life, you have no idea what I'm going through!" he yelled
"Perfect life? Its far from it! You know nothing about me, not even my name!" I yelled
"And you know so much about me?"
"I know your name is Liam Payne and that you were in One Direction"
"DON'T you ever mention those traitors!" he roared "1 years since we broke up. A fucking year. Those bastards just left me. They don't even bother to call me or see how I'm doing, they just moved on, without me. They blame me for the break up. Not those bloody paps who made up rumors or those stupid media stories. I tried to smile and put up a show but that was never enough for them. I put a smile on my face every damn day. I made sure my fans thought I was happy. Because I cared." I was speechless, I've been reading to him for over a week and he had never said more than a word
He broke down crying "We we're brothers! How could they just abandon me? They just forgot me"
"I .. I'm sorry Liam, please don't be upset, show me those pearly whites" I didn't know what else to say
"Thanks . . . what's your name?" he laughed
"Delilah" I smiled
"Sooo are you going to read Lilah? I need to forget for at least a while" I hated when people called me that, but I didn't want to upset him anymore
"Which book do you want to hear?"
"Any book involving the murder of 4 traitors that die" he laughed
"uuuhhm okay, we'll read Moby Dick"
"dick" he said and burst out in laughter
"anywaaaaaaaays, shhh let me read" I laughed
Liam's Pov

I can't believe I broke down in front of Lillah. At least she didn't freak out and leave. I can't believe I had never really noticed her beauty. She had beautiful blue eyes that you could just get lost in and long chocolate brown hair and an amazing smile.
"what are you staring at?" she looked at me puzzled
"nothing, sorry keep reading" Shit. Shit. Shit. Can't believe she caught me staring. Not like she would ever like me. I'm a loser. A fuck up. Everyone only sees me as garbage.
"Liam?"
"Oh sorry I was deep in thought" I laughed nervously
"It's 9, I've got to go home" woah, didn't even seem like an hour had passed
"Oh yeaa, bye, see you tomorrow"
"Later Alligator" she smiled
I laid in the library alone, like always. I couldn't stop thinking about her. Fuck. I don't need another girl messing me up again. I need to forget her. I'll do what I'll do best and go drink away everything.
