♥ Chapter 2 ♥

Delilah sat alone in the abandoned library reading, just the way she liked it. She had stumbled upon it on a rainy day and came back everyday since. She had plenty of books at home, but she always felt as she didn't belong, not really considering home a home.
She came from a wealthy family. Her dad spent all day locked away in his work, her sister was slowly dying of leukemia and her uptight mother was trying too hard to keep their image as a perfect family.
This was the only place where she could get lost in her fairy tales. Escape all her problems and not have to worry about anything. Even though her mom always insisted she needed to face reality, Delilah preferred not too. She loved learning new things from her books, every book being a different adventure and new knowledge.
Everyone thought of Delilah to be a snob because she hardly talked to anyone, when in reality she's far from it. She spend as much money as she could donating to cancer charities and any charity she could find. It was not her fault her dad ran the biggest music company in LA.
She had very few friends, it was hard to tell who genuinely cared about her and not her money. She didn't mind as long as she had her books to keep her company.
The back door of library slammed open and Delilah felt like her heart was going to pop out of her chest.
Liam walked in not even noticing Delilah, he laid on a table and held his throbbing head.
Delilah eye's widened, it's Liam Payne, she couldn't believe it. She was never a fan of One Direction, but you had to live under a rock to not know who they are. He finally turned and noticed Delilah.
This is how Delilah Summers & Liam Paynes met the summer of 2015.
