Liam's eyes open as the sun began to raise, he woke up yet again behind a bar, head pounding and not caring for a single thing in the world. Of coarse he had a home where he could sleep, well not a home, because a home is where you have someone to love and go to and he had no one.
It's been a year since One Direction broke up.
2 years since he had finally broken.
He had finally gotten tired of always having to fake a smile. Tired of always tying to be happy. Tired of having to act perfect. Tired of always having to act like everything was okay. Tired of being tired.
At first no one thought anything of it, but things soon got out of control. He began spending long nights at a bar instead of the studio. He drank to take away the pain, a pain that no one but he understood. The pain of slowly losing yourself and everyone you love.
The boys tried their hardest to help him. Zayn and Niall tried to bring him out of his "funk" as management would call it. They kept trying to keep the band together but it was too late. Soon they all got sick of Liam's constant drunk mishaps and having to cancel shows because Liam couldn't even stand cause of how intoxicated he was. So they walked away.
Harry began his solo career as expected. Louis and Eleanor married. Zayn and Perrie had a baby on the way and Niall was still just Niall. No one texted, no one called, no nothing. A bloody year and no one but the media seemed to care about Liam. He had no one to smile with, no one to share a laugh with, he was alone.
He finally decided to get up, he couldn't go home to a big empty house. So he headed cross the street where the abandoned library stood.
