I turn around and put my glass on the counter to pour a drink into it. Preston comes up behind me and puts his hands on my hips, making me jump.
"Preston, get off of me."
"Oh come on. You know you like it."
"Get. Your. Hands. Off. Of. Me."
Preston laughs at me. "Aw, look. She's trying to be scary. How cute. Bitch."
Before I know what's happening, Preston lets go of me and I hear someone say, "Watch it, asshole."
Looking up, I see that Niall has pushed Preston away from me.
"I think you should leave," He says forcefully.
"And now blondie comes to save the day. What, is he your boyfriend now?" Preston says with a smirk.
I realize that I am standing in front of the drawer where I keep my knives. As the two boys are arguing, I quietly pull a knife out and shut the drawer.
"Stop it," I say to Preston and Niall, glaring at Preston.
"Shut up, bitch. No one asked you."
I pull the knife from behind my back and point it at Preston.
"Get the fuck out of my house."
Preston's eyes widen and I notice that everyone in the living room gets quiet. He starts to walk out of the kitchen and I put the knife away. I turn around to thank Niall, and I'm met with a hand hitting my cheek, hard. Tears prick my eyes.
Preston just slapped me.
The force of his hit causes me to lose my balance and fall on the floor.
Preston laughs and runs out of my front door.
I hear Harry say, "Go get that bitch," and Zayn and Niall also run through my front door. Harry runs into the kitchen and pulls me into a hug.
I have hugged Harry before, but this time feels... Different...
